Heart + Paw is conveniently situated at 322 N Broad St, Philadelphia, PA 19107, USA. This prominent location places it directly on North Broad Street, a major artery running through the heart of Philadelphia, making it highly accessible for residents across the city and surrounding Pennsylvania areas. The building's visibility on such a well-known thoroughfare simplifies navigation for those traveling by car. While parking in a busy urban area like Center City can sometimes require planning, there are typically metered street parking options nearby, and several parking garages are often within a reasonable walking distance. It's always advisable to allocate a few extra minutes for parking upon arrival. The North Broad Street address also benefits significantly from Philadelphia's extensive public transportation network. For pet parents in Philadelphia and across Pennsylvania, Heart + Paw offers a distinctive and, for many, a highly suitable solution for their pet care needs. Its integrated model, combining comprehensive veterinary services with professional grooming and engaging daycare all under one roof, is a significant convenience for busy urban dwellers. This seamless approach means less travel and juggling multiple appointments, simplifying the often-complex logistics of pet ownership in a bustling city. The central location at 322 N Broad St ensures excellent accessibility, whether by personal vehicle or public transportation, making it a practical choice for residents throughout the greater Philadelphia area. Many customers laud the compassionate and skilled grooming services, highlighting the gentle approach with anxious pets and the excellent results. For example, a senior dog, typically "scared of people," had no issues and received an "awesome" haircut, and a nervous puppy thrived under patient care, demonstrating their ability to handle various temperaments. However, it's also important for potential clients to be aware of all feedback. One customer shared a challenging experience involving communication regarding late fees and appointment cancellation, coupled with a perception of discriminatory treatment, which led to frustration. This feedback, while a singular account, underscores the importance of clear communication and consistent customer service for all clients. Despite this, the overall model of Heart + Paw—providing comprehensive care that includes wellness, medical services, grooming, and daycare—remains highly appealing for locals seeking a one-stop-shop for their pet's needs. When the experience is positive, the convenience and quality of care, particularly in grooming, are highly valued. For Pennsylvanians looking for a modern, integrated pet care solution that can handle various aspects of their pet's well-being, Heart + Paw presents a compelling option, striving to create a comprehensive and caring environment for their animal companions.

Heart + Paw Reviews
My 15 year old senior man who is always scared of people (shelter dog) liked it there and didn't have any issues! His haircut is awesome. And, The groomer is the nicest sweetest groomer we have ever had. We will come back everytime our little poodle gets "too curly" 😁
Jun 10, 2025 · Sona CuberoEDIT from 5 stars to 1 Star. The current staff is giving RACIST energy… I’m not sure what changed , but I’m extremely frustrated and won’t be returning. I requested Charlie our previous groomer, but was informed he was no longer with them, but their current groomer has 5years experience. At that moment I knew this wouldn’t go well..I can now say for certain, none of this staff has experience with customer service unless you’re WHITE. I called to say we were running late and 15mins away, I was told I’ll have a $26 late fee, okay that’s fine. When I arrived 17 mins later I got a text cancelling my appointment.. while I’m literally standing at the gate while 3 women talk to another customer. I wasn’t greeted or welcomed like my prior experience. I felt they had already decided to cancel seeing us walk in. I never been to a business that made me feel like I didn’t belong. I even had time to take a picture while I stood there waiting to be greeted. After 4 minutes I said “Hiii I have an appointment but no one said anything to me” One women said “yea we’ll be right with you, the groomer will come out to talk to you” The first thing the groomer said was, “wow he’s so matted” No hello, or anything. FYI He’s actually NOT matted so her disclaimer/ assumption was very rude. She proceeded to tell me it’s not fair on her other appointments, that I arrived 2 minutes after the 15 min grace period …understandable, but why not tell me this otp knowing it’s cutting it close when I called asking if we can still come? Instead of having me drive down from Upper Darby in the rain to essentially ruin our experience. As I’m talking to the groomer she keeps looking over her shoulder making faces at the other employee, as if Im the “angry black women” for wanting an explanation, since I’m now being charged the full $99 groomers fee. They weren’t accommodating or friendly, I’m just screwed no offer to reschedule or anything, and to think I gave Charlie a $50 tip since out last exp was so great. You can literally still see his trim line. This is him two days, does he look “So matted” ??? NO. They’re racist liars. We went from customer 4L to Never Again.- Absolutely AMAZING. My Maltichon puppy was still very nervous/new at being groomed. I attempted to take him to Petco, but was called within 30mins to pick him back up saying he almost “hung himself”.. Heart + Paw by far passed my expectations. Charlie not only took his time and worked at Caesar’s pace, but he also gave him the perfect cut for my long hair preferences. - Caesar had about 4-5 inches of hair, he took off exactly half leaving him bouncy and beautiful with adorable sleeves!Customers 4L 5stars.

Dec 21, 2024 · Marcos WelniakThey groomed my dog Marley and did a great job. I asked for certain things to be kept longer and they followed all my directions which I greatly appreciated. Definitely will be coming back! Took about 2.5 hours for my 15lb dog.
Jan 12, 2025 · James KornegayI was a little hesitant to bring my cat here at first because they didn’t have as many reviews as other places, but I’m so glad I gave them a chance. It’s close to home, and honestly, I’ve had nothing but great experiences.Everyone on the staff is kind, and patient. The place is clean. The veterinarians are knowledgeable, gentle, and take the time to explain everything in a way that makes you feel confident and informed. My cat feels welcomed and comfortable every time we go, which means the world to me.Another thing I really appreciate is how responsive they are through messages, anytime I’ve had questions or concerns, they’ve replied quickly and thoroughly.I’m really happy I found this place and would definitely recommend it to anyone looking for a trustworthy, caring vet.
