★ 5★ 4★ 3★ 2★ 1My narcotics k9 began vomiting and i took her to a different "emergency" vet in the area on a sunday. It took 3 hours before ever seeing a vet and my K9 was even projectile vomiting. She was treated like a non emergent patient. Long story short she ended up with possible spleen torsion that unflipped. We were scheduled for surgery at a normal vet clinic for a week later. Dhe began vomiting again and we called emergency Pet care to see if they were capable of an emergency surgery for spleen removal. They said yes, we arrived and care began immediately. Her spleen did flip again and her life was saved. I highly recommend this clinic for your dog or pets emergency needs. Staff was friendly and professional.
August 14 · Rachael CrivelliOur sweet pup got bit by a copperhead. His bloodwork was extremely elevated and his nose and muzzle were very swollen. Our regular vet does not carry antivenin so we transferred care to Emergency Pet Care of Texas. Everyone was very compassionate and took great care of our pup. Within hours his bloodwork was nearing normal and he got to go home with us after only 12 hours after being bit. It’s been 5 days and he’s doing amazingly well. Thanks to all the hardworking doctors and staff who cared for Sheriff. We are very grateful for you. ❤️
May 13 · Julie LawsonWe had to take our boy in after he developed a fever and was super lethargic (photo 1) after finding and eating some chicken bones. The team at EPCT was amazing from check-in to check-out. Haku had to stay overnight and I was kept up-to-date by multiple doctors. When I picked up my pup was super happy (photo 2), actually loved the staff and you could tell he was really really well taken care of! I honestly feel they treated him like they would their own dogs and that makes me feel awesome to have found such a good emergency vet. Thank you to the whole team!
June 18 · Erika GolderAbout a month ago we woke to my big Persian having issues with his back legs, not eating etc, My husband started making calls to emergency clinics nearby as I rushed to get me and big guy ready to go, the person on the phone was taking info and said she would wait for me to get there. As soon as I got there the front desk person ( I should have got her name) was so sweet and so helpful and knew it was an emergency to get him seen. She took him back and I waited. In no time at all they called me to the cat room and even though it was bad news the WHOLE staff was so kind and so soft spoken, explained everything in detail, consoled and they shared my sadness with me. I was a big mess and heartbroken but I'm so grateful to them they are so understanding and treat you like family, They made his end of life very special for me and when it came time to make choices they all had a hand in helping me do that, I went with cremation and received his remains back with two gifts that Ill cherish forever, also fairly priced! Thank you to that morning staff that Saturday I'm so thankful for you, I wish I took names, but I remember your faces, God bless you all.. The Sanches Family
July 10 · Gracie SanchesLast night was one of the worst nights I have had as a pet owner. We brought our Kaizer in and ended up having to have him put down. I cannot say enough good things about Dr. Heineman and all the staff. Thank you for being so caring, compassionate, and patient. I am forever grateful for how you took care of Kaizer and my family.
