- Wide Range of Products (Implied): While not explicitly stated as a highlight in the reviews, the nature of a Pet Supermarket suggests a broad selection of products, which is a consistent draw for customers looking for variety.
- Accessibility of Live Feeder Fish (with caveats): The interactions regarding feeder fish suggest that this location does stock live feeder fish, which is a specific need for some pet owners, though availability can be an issue.

Specifically, an employee named Jorge was noted for being unhelpful, giving excuses for not providing products, and exhibiting rude and unprofessional behavior. Another review mentioned being "brushed off" by afternoon/closing staff who were socializing instead of assisting customers. This inconsistency in service quality is a major drawback.
- Lack of Staff Engagement: The reviews suggest a lack of proactive engagement from some staff members, with customers having to seek out help and finding employees "goofing around" or unwilling to assist.
- Potential for Negative Customer Experience: The cumulative effect of these service issues can lead to customers feeling unheard, frustrated, and ultimately, choosing to shop elsewhere, as expressed by one reviewer who stated they would "never return."

Pet Supermarket Reviews
Horrible experience at this store two times . First time I went to go get some feeders and an employee named Jorge told me he could not give me the fish due to water contaminate put in the tank so I walked around and asked another younger employee and sure enough he went and got me the fish. Went back today and who do you think was there only Jorge so I proceeded towards him and asked told him I needed feeders and he automatically told me he couldn’t give me any fishes due to the tank being locked. So I advised him that this was the second time he has giving me an excuse about getting the fish and that last time he told me what he did and another employee got them for me. He didn’t care at all is said there’s nothing he can do.As a buisness owner myself I would never have an employee like this guy working in my store and denying buisness. I had my mother call to get his name and he answered the phone and my mom asked who am I speaking to and he said Jorge what’s up what do you need. Very rude and unprofessional employee, every time I’ve gone in the past he’s always smoking cigarets outside. This guy defiantly hates working and hates dealing with customers . I’m very upset about this experience and I will defiantly never return to this pet supermarket and will defiantly advise everyone I talk to about my experience .
Jul 03, 2025 · stuart gibbingsLove this store and used to work it too. Always clean and organized but service has really fallen through. I’m not the type to ask for help when I shop but when I do it’s because I really need it. Was kind of brushed off by afternoon / closing staff and stood around with another customer for a bit while they socialized at the registers and just overall goofed around. Will probably only shop in the mornings like I normally do or go to another location when I need the help.

May 12, 2024 · Mariela Flores Miami RealtorThe young lady and lad helped me with trying to find a nice filter for my fish. The young man was realistic with what I could do with my tank.I highly suggest that you do you research about fish and bring a picture or reference of your fish tank. With my pictures and measurements he was able to suggest a nice filter. Now my fish tank is way better! Thanks my little ones are happy.
Nov 11, 2018 · Trailmix305I toke my original review down and rewriting it. Why call the 866 number they give you it appears its automatically generated response. I called the number they did ask what the problem was they did not ask what store I was calling about they told me to call or deal with the store it also appears that the person that took the call is 3rd party working from home. You my wonder what I am complaining about which is low to no products of what you need or want the size of some of the fishes are very small. The ladies that are working very hard and proud need help breaking down the pallets of pet food which can be very heavy.WHY CALL BACK WHEN THEY TELL YOU TO CALL THE STORE AND TALK TO THEM WHEN IT APPEARS THAT THE ISSUES ARE CORPORATE ISSUES7/5/24Just got back from the store it appears that there is a better selection of fish and some other productsKeep it PetSuper Market
