I have been so pleased - with multiple visits - to the grooming service for my pug. Sybellee does a fantastic job! She goes above and beyond! They have a rewards program too; the 8th groom is free :)
May 13, 2025 · ______Update: The interim clinic manager, Megan reached out to me today and asked to listen to my story. She was very down to earth and I appreciated her time and honest transparency on the situation. She is making sure my cat and I are taken care of and was very kind in her care over the phone. I appreciate her not taking the situation lightly and to call an unhappy patient for a situation she had no part of. I will give them the opportunity for care if we ever need vet assistance again. Thank you again Megan!Vetco experience: I originally brought my cat in because his eye was watery. At the first visit, they quickly diagnosed it as a viral infection and said it would clear up on its own. Since I didn’t want to waste the appointment, I had them give him his feline leukemia booster (a two-part series) and purchased flea and tick medication. It wasn’t in stock, but they said it would arrive within a few days, so I planned to pick it up at his next booster appointment.Over the next three weeks, his eye didn’t improve, and there were still no signs of infection. When I returned for his second booster, I mentioned it again to the vet tech, who was very kind but also a student (something she openly acknowledged). She gave me an odd explanation that his eye could be watering because it might have “different DNA,” which honestly didn’t make any sense and sounded bazaar. After that, they decided to do a recheck, which was far more thorough than the first visit—highlighting how rushed and incomplete that initial exam really was.During that same visit, they pointed out that my cat is large for his age and expressed concern that the 6-month supply of flea and tick meds might not last as long as expected. They gave me half the supply and said they’d prorate the rest after a follow-up. They also told me they’d add detailed notes so no one would miss this. But two days later, I got a call from someone unclear on why I had only picked up half of the medication—clearly unaware of the plan. Either the notes weren’t made or they weren’t clear. I explained the situation, and she told me that actually wasn’t their policy and I’d need to come in to pick up the rest. I agreed and said I’d come on Sunday but when I arrived, the pharmacy was closed. That’s a 40-minute round trip completely wasted. At this point, I won’t be returning. I could pay the same—or even less—for better, more reliable care at my regular vet. This place might work if you need a last-minute appointment, but the lack of communication, inconsistent care, and disorganized follow-through just aren’t worth it.I will give three stars because they are very kind.
Jun 25, 2025 · Victoria MLitterally the worst vet experience ever. Grooming is great. Store is good. The vet spot needs to close its doors or update there system. Every visit for tge last year has been over 2 hours and the staff says there systems are down just wai and they look and act miserable because of it. Honestly our appointment was 1:30 yesterday and we did not leave with perscriptions untill after 4:30 pm. Absolutley crazy. Theres more if someome want to call me i would be happy to share the rest in more detail. I doubt anyone will and this business modell will shut down if it leeps going this way. Hope this helps
Jun 16, 2025 · Shawn GAbsolutely Outrageous – Shame on You, PetcoI recently brought a wild rabbit into Petco that was clearly sick or injured. Hoping to do the humane thing, I asked for help in euthanizing it. Instead of showing any compassion, I was hit with a $240 charge just to euthanize an animal that wasn’t even mine — a wild animal.Let that sink in: $240 to end the suffering of a dying rabbit. No treatment, no diagnostics, just euthanasia. That’s beyond excessive — it’s predatory.I understand veterinary care isn’t free, but this was a situation calling for compassion and basic decency, not price-gouging someone trying to do the right thing.Petco’s vet services should be ashamed of themselves. This experience left me disgusted, heartbroken, and angry. I’ll be taking my business elsewhere — and making sure others think twice before trusting Petco with any animal, wild or domestic.
May 31, 2025 · Michelle WanekWe always have such a great experience at this Petco. Staff is so friendly and helpful, David, grooming salon manager, is amazing. He has honestly been the best groomer we’ve experienced anywhere. The Vetco techs are also wonderful- they trimmed my elderly dog’s dewclaws perfectly. He is a skittish dog and they made him feel right at ease. I highly recommend this Petco for all your pet’s needs.
