★ 5★ 4★ 3★ 2★ 1Adrian Animal Clinic was great Saturday when I had to take my Double Doodle in for a sick visit. They were compassionate and very caring. They talked us through each step and made sure we knew the price of everything before doing it. They kept us well informed.
July 15 · Stephanie CobbReal friendly staff and the Veterinarian was very knowledgeable about my grandkids 3 bunny rabbits . Glad to have an exotic Vet to take care of them.
March 28 · Karen SimonianTook my kitten in to get spayed at Adrian animal hospital, but when I went to pick Her up she had two burn marks right below her eyes and two burns on her front legs supposedly she got away from one of the workers and crawled under something and got burned. The workers couldn’t tell me what exactly happened or what burnt her but she is lucky to have both of her eyes because that’s how close it was to blinding her. The doctor was nowhere to be found. Leaving the blame on the worker who Was basically blaming My cat for what happened but not that she is trained to do this and failed to take care of my pet under her supervision leading to injury. Do yourself a favor and do not take your loved animals here I will not be returning here How could I with what happened on their watch? Then they proceeded to over charge me $600 for the procedure. This place is a joke and a money grab they don’t care about your animals
April 28 · Corey JacobiakBest vet to take over for Dr.Herr. my dog will actually walk right towards her and gives her kisses every time. I think she is knowledgeable, and very kind. She helped Max so well , when we were both attacked by dogs that came out of nowhere. We were waiting to cross the street. These dogs ripped his leg down to the bone while the other had his head. After many shots , he finally fell asleep so she could see him up. She actually sat down on the floor to love him up and try to calm him. She is the best. P. S. Max is healed, and all wounds are closed. I'm grateful for her concern and love she displays.
August 05 · Christine Werstler**Update, the vet responded to this review and said they'd have someone contact me regarding my experience however after two weeks I've still yet to hear from a staff member. I guess it just looks good for them to let comment readers think they'd like to make right by the experience and negative review, but it doesn't go very far when there's zero follow through.Initially I gave 5 stars because the grooming staff and front desk was great, however I dropped my rating down to a generous 2 stars after my visit this morning. A kitten showed up in our driveway this morning that clearly had a severe URI so we brought it to the vet. $62 just for the visit itself which I feel is on the steeper side. Aside from that, the vet we saw was very cold, not warm or compassionate at all. Isn't that her job?? Not ours. We're just two strangers paying a couple hundred dollars on a kitten that just showed up, trying to do the right thing when we have our own pets to already care for.She pretty much said the kitten probably has leukemia and to euthanize her and antibiotics won't work.We had her tested and although she tested positive for leukemia, she suggested euthanasia rather than offer any kind of options to keep her comfortable for as long as possible. Yes I understand that feline leukemia is not curable, they can still live a fairly comfortable life for several months or even a couple of years. Not many people know this, and they rely on their vet to provide them this information that they went to school for to be educated on.I will not be returning here for vet services, and unfortunately it's also made me decide not to use them for their grooming services going forward as well. While we were waiting to checkout, this older woman came in with her heavier set and very scared Doxie x Beagle and the woman asked the front desk for help getting her dog through the threshold of the vet office and the staff grabbed this poor dog by the harness and dragged her across the floor. This is NOT how you handle or treat ANY animal.Between the vet being very cold and seeming to not care at all about this cat that we brought in, but the way the front desk handled someone else's dog without hesitation really makes me question them. If they handle them like this out in the public eye then i worry about how they handle these animals behind closed doors.Educate your customers/patients on diseases and options they have, and treat ALL animals with care, compassion and respect, or don't be a vet or work at a vets office. Thank God I wasn't there that day having to get a pet euthanized or they would have somehow made the experience so much worse. We got the antibiotics anyway even though the vet told us there's really no point. But we'll at least try and do the best we can for her with the time she has and if she needs a follow-up, we'll be sticking with our regular vet Companion in Tecumseh. The ONLY reason we didn't go there for this kitten was because they didn't have any openings until later in the day.I also want to add that not one but three (and then four after speaking with my regular vet) people who are heavily involved in cat rescue and foster, had said that it's common for very sick cats to test a false positive and they should be retested AFTER taking antibiotics and it's been at least 6 weeks before testing again. I brought this up to the tech and she looked at me like this was the dumbest thing she'd ever heard. She said she never heard of that. Just a simple Google search says otherwise, as well as other reputable sources. Again, this is information that the vet should know of and educate people like me on.
