Animal Medical Clinic of South Boston Reviews
I have taken my special breed cat to get fixed here and my elderly pit bull with high anxiety here. They are awesome. I explained about my dog and her anxiety and they offered premeds to help her relax. It was a wonderful experience with the meds. Although she was still a little mouthy. They worked with me to give her the best help. I would take her back there a hundred times more. They were great.
Jan 14, 2025 · Tosha BakerThis is a good vet! It's small and nothing special but the people here are really nice and it's very affordable. I had to have my sweet Pixie girl put down because she was just so old and suffering 😭 They were understanding and accommodating for me though because I wanted to just take her in there and run out of that room. It just hurt me so bad. They usually go over the whole process and paperwork with you, but they were understanding that I just didn't want to hear it so they let me just sign and skip over all the parts I didn't want to hear. I also appreciate that they let me get out of there and just wait in my truck because I would of absolutely hated having to sit in a waiting room in public crying in front of people. They made a very hard time for me a lot easier. I know I probably seemed really weird to those people but it was the best way I knew how to deal with it. They also offered a bag you can buy at extra cost that wasn't very expensive, so we got that, and thank God because I did not want to see her. We buried her at home and trust me, get the bag, it makes it 10x easier! I would definitely recommend this place ✅
May 04, 2025 · Amanda CumberIt’s very upsetting that I have to put a star for this review. I am a traveling nurse and just rescued two aussiedoodles. These two pups go everywhere with me and definitely needed a grooming! I had such great intentions when I dropped them off the morning of their appt. Little did I know when I went to go get them when they were finished they looked horrible! The groomer left them so patchy! Did not clean ears or eyes. Still had dirt and eye boogers. Very disappointed with the overall experience and price they made me pay before I could even get my pups in my hands. I went to the store myself to purchase a pair of clippers and get the job done the correct way. License or not. Do not recommend to anyone!! Horrible service! Below are picture listed of the before and after.
Mar 06, 2022 · Katelin SingletonStaff is great and you can tell they care for the pets.Billy the pit and Audi the miniature dachshund love them.
May 30, 2025 · Robert McMullenI called on Thursday Dec 12 and spoke with Samantha and told her my dog was very sick and hadn’t ate or drank for 2 days and that I thought he had a stroke. She told me they didn’t have any cancellations and couldn’t see him until Dec 20. He suffered until he died Sunday morning. We have taken our pets there for years. I’m changing to another vet office that is concerned for my pets 😡😡😡
