★ 5★ 4★ 3★ 2★ 1Banfield has taken care of our cats, Mellow (10 years old) and Marco (1.5 years old) for a few years now and we have been so pleased with their care, compassion, efficiency and kindness. Thank you Banfield in Decatur on Blackmon Drive.
August 14 · Cheryl WillisI would not recommend taking your pet here unless absolutely necessary. The staff was nice enough but the experience as a whole was terrible. Had an appointment at 11:30am and was told it would be an hour or two before my dog would be ready for pick up (even though I scheduled an in-room visit) ended up waiting close to 6 hours for them to simply give him shots and an antibiotic for a hot spot. The vet came out and talked to me after the appointment was finished. Again, nice enough but I had so many things I wanted to ask him but felt bad because he was already obviously “in the weeds”Didn’t feel malicious, but you can tell they are overwhelmed. Pee on the floor in the waiting area and just generally felt icky being there.Came home and they didn’t even shave around the affected area or really do much at all.I’ll never go back and I recommend you look elsewhere for your veterinary care (I only came here because it was a bit of an emergency)
July 29 · Kazia PfuntnerA super bad service, they talk to you as if you were stupid and take advantage of the emergency. They paid more than $1000 for the consultation and that they did x-rays plus acquire the plan of $72 a month for 1 year. They didn't solve ANYTHING and my dog almost died. They called me 3 hours after I left her with the doctor who needs a surgery the extra cost could reach more than $5000. I called another doctor for a second opinion and he very kindly attended to her, he checked her, gave her liquids and operated on the SAME day, everything for $2380, an excellent service and thank God our dog is already fully recovered.I recommend the cliftwood animal hospital ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ really good and professional Doctor!
June 18 · Kriss FonsecaI had a deeply frustrating experience at this veterinary office. I brought my injured cat in for an appointment, and while in the carrier, he unfortunately soiled himself. When I arrived, the receptionist prioritized uninsured animals, even though I had a scheduled appointment. I asked to be put in a room after waiting for 30 minutes, and noticed a white woman in one of the rooms on the phone with no pet. When I inquired, I was told all rooms were full, but the receptionist insisted the woman was waiting for her pet. I requested that she wait in the waiting room so I could take my cat in to clean him up, but instead, I was told to wait for another room to open. My poor cat sat in his own urine for 45 minutes, and I felt completely ignored and discriminated against. This experience left me feeling deeply uncared for, and I will not be returning.
March 10 · candace castonEverybody is super nice when me and Dakota Rae comes. My questions are always answered. No issues and plan not to have any. Thank you Banfield ❤️ 🐶
