All Wild Things Exotic Animal Hospital Reviews
The doctor is always helpful even when I just called and asked what to do in emergent situation. They are not trying to ripping off but rather trying to help my birds. Wellness check is a bit expensive $95-100 (I don't remember the exact amount) but they are worth for the emergency by having them know the baseline of animal. I have two birds but both had some minor illnesses here and there, but they were all very helpful every time. I highly recommend this hospital!
Apr 18, 2025 · Jun YamUpdateDr. Brightwiser is seriously the most caring vet. She helped me with my Jalapeño (Kiwi's chick) today when I found him with a horrifying injury! She and her staff stayed 2 hours after closing to make sure my precious bird had pain medication and more. She also continues to have the most affordable pricing for her valuable experience and care.I'm so glad I have the most wonderful vet that I can confidently recommend to everyone.Thank you so much Dr. Brightwiser!*****Throughout my experience (years) with Dr. Brightwiser, she has S-A-V-E-D my Green Cheek Conure, Kiwi, both directly and indirectly thanks to her time, dedication, compassion, and MOST VALUABLY instruction (verbally and physically). She is the BEST exotic vet in Indianapolis and you will NOT find someone more compassionate and truly caring for your pet. She's honest with NO sugar coating or BSing, she'll work with you, and she goes above and beyond to do everything in her power to figure out what is wrong with your precious baby before putting your file away. She really cares. Her prices are so low you can just tell that she is NOT in this for the money and she comes in on short notice and is there for so long you can tell this is truly her passion in life.I can NOT say enough good things about Dr. Brightwiser and I am so very grateful for everything she has done for me and my flock. Apr 18, 2025 · Christina Ann WiehoffFantastic knowledgeable staff who took care of both of my bunnies. The vet contacted me over the phone with updates and addressed all of my concerns and provided me with helpful information regarding our pets.Impressive facility I would recommend to anyone searching for a vet.
Jan 28, 2025 · Misty WilliamsI wish I had read the reviews before I took my bearded dragon there. I was told to wait outside and I could drop it off and come back later- and I said no- I had a scheduled appointment and I live 30 minutes away. I had a lot of questions for the vet. I I needed guidance. So the Dr. came outside to talk to me citing bird flu and other possible pathogen contamination- which I understand to a degree but it just seemed excessive. Especially when I called a few other exotic pet vets and asked if they allow their clients to come in the building and was told absolutely and that they even let them in the exam room!! We stood outside in the sun on the front steps while she rushed through the answers to my questions. I felt rushed. I’m so mad I was charged $95 for them to weigh my dragon and tell me some things that should be in its environment. It was very confusing. I was sent home with a poorly drawn example of what an “ideal” habitat should look like. It is hard to read and looked like it had just been drawn up while I was outside waiting for thirty minutes. While I’m sure they mean well in keeping people outside it just puts the pet owner in discomfort to not even be allowed inside (I had to drive across the street to use the restroom). It felt more like they were hiding something instead of trying to protect the animals. I can’t imagine what they thought I was going to spread to anything by just coming inside. I should have gone with my gut feeling the minute they said I could not come in- I should have left. My dragon was allowed inside. I’m just mad I didn’t go somewhere else. For $95 I should have been able to go inside. I felt ripped off.
Mar 10, 2025 · Stephanie SasenaI have chinchillas. I LOVE all wild things. They are always super helpful with advising on what to do or not to do with whatever the condition the chinchilla is in. They are super friendly and show they care for your baby as you would. A downfall is they don't allow you in the building/exam room. I do NOT like this as I look at my fur babies like children and given my poor experience at previous vets I am uncomfortable not being present. The parking lot is horrid as well. It is extremely small and doesn't leave much room to navigate in especially if there is more than one other car in the lot at the same time you are. The entrance/exit is sketchy and is tiny and crazily damaged. I used to take my fur babies to avian exotics due to it being the exotic vet closest to my home. I lost two chinchillas at that clinic due to misdiagnosis and negligence. Oh, they also mis gendered a fully grown chinchilla which is a hard thing to do. LOVE ALL WILD THINGS! your babies will definitely be in the best hands here.
