Block House Creek Animal Hospital understands that a pet's health journey often requires more than just a single visit. This is why their on-site veterinary pharmacy is such a vital component of their practice. Having a pharmacy right within the hospital means that your veterinarian can immediately fill your pet's prescriptions, whether it’s for a new condition, ongoing management of a chronic illness, or preventative care. This eliminates the need for an extra stop at a separate pharmacy, ensuring that your pet can start their treatment plan without delay. The staff is knowledgeable not only in veterinary medicine but also in the specific medications your pet needs, allowing them to provide expert guidance on dosage, administration, and potential side effects.
Beyond just dispensing medications, the veterinary pharmacy at Block House Creek is a testament to the hospital's holistic approach to pet care. They stock a wide range of medications, supplements, and preventative products, making it a one-stop-shop for many of your pet's needs. The convenience and expertise that this on-site service provides are invaluable, particularly in times of stress or urgency. The compassionate and professional care, highlighted in customer reviews, underscores the fact that this is a place where your pet is treated like a member of the family, with their health and comfort as the top priority.

★ 5★ 4★ 3★ 2★ 1First and foremost, Id like to thank Dr. Rayl for taking such good care of my pets. Dr. Rayl has demonstrated exemplary professionalism and knowledge during my visits with him. He is very; clear, consise, and straight to the point when discussing any issues that my pet is having, while also providing clear approaches on possible solutions to help alleviate any of the said issues. I've taken two of my guinea pigs in so far. One of my little piggies had an absess in the back of his teeth, causing his right eye popping out of the socket. Dr. Rayl took a look at him and instantly recognized the problem and gave us the recommended treatment plan, while also working with us on the payment plan. Our little piggy is still a strong and healthy little trooper. Our second one was also given the proper treatment, however, he was older and had and extra toe leading us to believe that he could of been suffering another genetic abnormality (he was a pet store purchase) . He unfortunately did not make it to the next check up. We notified Dr. Rayl, and we had received a very heartfelt letter some time later. Thank you Dr. Rayl for everything you have done! Also thank you to the vet tech, Kaitlyn (sorry if I misspelled your name) for providing great care to Odie!
April 02 · Jericho GuzmanI can’t say enough great things about this place and its staff. Been taking my GSP Chance there for the last year and a half. He’s quite a trouble maker so we got pretty acquainted with the Hospital.Never felt overcharged, rather always had a reasonable conversation of what we should do and what may be something we can do next if the first option doesn’t rule the problem out.I also appreciate the staff reacting very quickly when my dog was choking and I called on the way to the hospital. The staff was waiting for us at the door with all the needed equipment. We have travelled enough and thus changed the vets a number of times. This place is definitely hands down the best.Thank you for your care over my pooch!
July 30 · TatsianochkaI cannot recommend Dr. Curl and her fantastic team, including technicians Juliette and Miranda, enough! After trying several vets in atx that didn't meet our expectations, we were thrilled to find this exceptional practice. The drive from South Austin to Cedar Park is absolutely worth it for the top-notch care they provide. Dr. Curl takes the time to explain everything in detail and genuinely cares for our three pups, even having delivered one of their litters. Every staff member we’ve encountered, from the front desk to the technicians, has been consistently amazing, making every visit a positive experience. If you’re looking for a compassionate and knowledgeable veterinarian, look no further!
March 22 · odette marinDr Franco explained everything thoroughly and answered all our questions. Staff were excellent. Highly recommended.Jack the cat got his summer haircut today. They did an amazing job with him.Update: We took Jack back last month to have his ears checked. He had an infection. Again, Dr. Franco explained the lab results and several treatment options. We selected the one he recommended and returned last week and the infection is gone.
June 08 · Lanny WadleMy Pom Kuykuy had a non-traumatic experience on her 1st Vet visit here. Janelle made sure that she's gonna get checked well and put her on schedule for her next visit at my own convenience. She's very warm and gentle with my Kuykuy while Dr Rayl was so careful and nice. I was very anxious about my pom, but everything went fine. Whew!Thank you very much, Janelle and Dr Rayl. See you again on Kuykuy's next visit.I appreciate you both.
