Claremont Veterinary Hospital Reviews
I've been taking my dog to Claremont Vet since I adopted him five years ago. He is a pup with a lot of medical issues and health challenges, and has been to Claremont Vet at least a dozen times (maybe even close to two dozen) for both urgent care and regular visits. We've most often seen Dr. MacDonald (who we love) but have seen all the providers at one point or another. The staff are so compassionate, professional, and helpful. The doctors are exceptional with their knowledge, care towards my pup, and their patience with my questions. I always feel like my pup (and myself!) are in excellent hands with the team. And I love that I'm supporting a woman owned small businesses. I've had to take my pup in to ER vets elsewhere a few times and (understanding there's a vet shortage and everyone in the field is worked to the bone), I have always walked away feeling so grateful that Claremont Vet is my primary provider and offers such great care. I could not recommend Claremont Vet more and I will certainly bring future pets here.

Feb 15, 2025 · Mason MusumeciMy husband and I have been taking our dog to Claremont ever since we moved to the area a few years ago, and we used to have such great experiences. SADLY, that's just not the case anymore.Over time, we've noticed the prices keep going up, while the quality of care has really gone downhill. The lobby is always overcrowded, the wait times are ridiculously long even with an appointment, and it's especially bad if you need to leave your dog for the day. The doctors can be cold and impatient, and the staff just seems overwhelmed. Every appointment feels like they’re rushing you out the door to get to the next person. What really pushed us to make a change was an appointment with Dr. Kapor. We usually see someone else, but since we were going out of town, we needed to get our dog’s ear checked. Despite being on time, we waited forever before anyone helped us. When the doctor finally came in, he barely examined our dog and seemed irritated when I asked a few basic questions. His attitude was really upsetting. Then, they took our dog to the back for treatment, rushed us out, and handed us a hefty bill at the front desk. After that, we decided that this was it. A friend recommended Thornhill, and we couldn’t be happier with the change. It’s so disappointing to see this place going downhill, but it honestly feels like they’re more interested in making money than providing good care.
Feb 02, 2025 · ChristineGreat staff, love Dr. McDonald. Front staff is pooite and helpful, back staff fawns over my baby and their prices seem fair. Thanks for being there guys.
May 08, 2025 · Emily SevinThe staff at Claremont Vet are great! They have been checking in via email for the last week while my dog has been ill. I truly appreciate their care and advice during this time.
