Jun 13, 2025 · Jennifer IbarraCliffdale Animal Hospital is the best vet office i have ever had. They really care for your pets and make sure they are always well taken care of and you are informed of any and all treatments, procedures, or medications. They have really good prices on everything and they make sure that you understand your pet's health and their needs. Their front desk is also always professional and sweet!!
Mar 12, 2025 · Samantha MansawI love this vet clinic! I noticed my cat was rapidly losing weight and his urine output tripled (for 1 use). As a new patient, they were able to get us in quickly. They had in-house testing for same-day diagnosis. The vet I saw was caring and patiently went over and explained treatment options. 100% recommend!
May 17, 2025 · Donna SteinkeMy husband and I are new to the area and hadn’t found a vet yet. My childhood cat unfortunately grew ill and his health started to decline. I called Cliffdale Thursday and explained his situation. The woman on the phone, I can’t remember her name, was very kind and patient. They were able to get us in that day. Raja, my cat, was evaluated and yes euthanasia was his best option, as he was suffering. The staff gave us all the time we needed, explained everything in detail before doing it, broke down the cost when I asked, and overall showed us compassion. I couldn’t imagine going to a different vet, especially regarding this experience. The level and quality of care is unmatched. Thank you to the staff who was there with us. I appreciate everything. I would definitely recommend Cliffdale Animal Hospital.
Feb 10, 2024 · Hope GeeryI followed Dr. Chavis here because she’s a great vet, but I can’t keep coming back. Every visit turns into hundreds of dollars with tests I didn’t ask for and I can't turn down. I came in today just for flea meds and was told I needed a fecal exam, heartworm test, physical, blood work, etc. It’s constant upselling, and the front desk staff is always rude. She can't even say my dog's name, and we correct her literally every time.As long as this keeps happening you're going to keep losing customers who value your service. The vets are great when you get to them, but the struggle is getting there and it's no longer worth it. I’m done.EDIT:Thank you for the update, but I want to be clear that I’m not pleased. I’m glad Rebecca had a good experience, but that doesn't change how I feel or what happened from my perspective.Regarding your statement about testing and treatment being optional: I was explicitly told that without an annual exam, we could not receive flea and tick prevention. That’s not a suggestion — that’s a requirement. If you reviewed the recording, you should already be aware of that, and it’s disappointing to see it misrepresented here.As for the front desk interaction, I’m trying to understand how you can say there was no wrongdoing while also acknowledging that our pet’s name was mispronounced and an apology was given. Was the name ever pronounced correctly at any point during the call? Because based on what I heard, it wasn’t.You mention my concerns are being “taken to heart,” but I’m struggling to see how. I’ve raised similar concerns since we began coming to Cliffdale Animal Hospital, and from my view, very little has changed.Lastly, I have no idea who Henry is. I’ve never interacted with him before, so it’s confusing to receive a message from someone I’ve never spoken to regarding an ongoing issue.
