Seventy First Animal Hospital

Animal hospital, Emergency veterinarian service ★4.0

I love this Pet Hospital. Our dog was deemed too aggressive at different place but Seventy First still took us as patients without hesitation they insured our dog was on a chill protocol and all staff approached him slow and quiet without a problem. Our dog had a reactive moment with the doctor and she still had compassion for him at the next appointment and took time to build his trust even after. They really care about your animals. Also they are quick at getting you at your actual appointment time, minimal waiting. Love it here. - Joey Ackerman-Lowery

Services Offered

Seventy First Animal Hospital provides a comprehensive suite of veterinary services, designed to address the full spectrum of your pet's health needs from puppyhood through their senior years. Their approach emphasizes preventative care, thorough diagnostics, and effective treatment.

  • Wellness & Preventative Care: This foundational service includes thorough nose-to-tail wellness exams, tailored vaccination protocols to protect against common diseases, and comprehensive parasite control (fleas, ticks, heartworms). They also offer nutritional counseling and age-specific assessments to maintain optimal health.
  • Advanced Care & Diagnostics: Equipped with modern diagnostic tools, including in-house laboratory testing for quick results on blood work, urinalysis, and fecal exams. They also offer general X-ray (digital radiography) for examining various body systems, providing a complete picture of your pet's health and aiding in early detection.
  • Surgical Procedures: From routine to advanced, the practice offers safe and effective surgical options. This includes common procedures like spaying and neutering ("fixing" pets to prevent breeding), as well as other soft tissue surgeries. They prioritize state-of-the-art equipment and best practices for patient safety and recovery.
  • Dental Care: Comprehensive dental services, including cleaning, polishing, and surgical procedures (e.g., extractions), are performed to address oral health issues and prevent systemic diseases that can stem from poor dental hygiene.
  • Urgent Care: While not a 24/7 emergency clinic, they are equipped to handle urgent medical needs during their regular business hours. Pet owners are encouraged to call for immediate assistance from their trained veterinary staff in acute situations.
  • Pet Grooming: Offering professional grooming services, including bathing, trimming, and styling, for most breeds. This service helps maintain pet hygiene and comfort.
  • Pet Boarding: Provides secure and climate-controlled indoor boarding facilities for both dogs and cats. Dogs receive regular walks (at least three times a day, with extra walks for puppies and geriatric dogs), and specific food options (Royal Canin) are provided, with the option for owners to bring their own sealed food.
  • End-of-Life Care: Offers compassionate options for end-of-life care, including humane euthanasia, providing support and guidance to pet owners during this difficult time.
  • Online Pharmacy & Food Ordering: Clients can conveniently order their pet's favorite food and medications through an upgraded online store, often with AutoShip discounts and promotions.
  • Pet Portal: Provides a secure online portal for clients to access their pet's records and manage appointments.
