For pet owners across North Carolina, ensuring the health and well-being of our animal companions is a profound commitment. A significant part of responsible pet ownership involves preventative care, and among the most impactful services is spaying and neutering. Not only do these procedures contribute to the individual health of pets, but they also play a crucial role in controlling pet overpopulation within our communities. In Fayetteville, NC, a dedicated initiative known as Big Fix stands out as a vital resource, providing accessible and affordable spay/neuter services, along with other essential support for pet-owning families. This article aims to inform local North Carolina residents about Big Fix, highlighting its mission, the valuable services it offers, and why it has become a trusted partner for those seeking compassionate and budget-friendly pet care in the region.
The decision to spay or neuter a pet is one of the most important steps a responsible owner can take. These routine surgeries prevent unwanted litters, reduce the risk of certain cancers and behavioral issues, and contribute to a pet's overall longevity and quality of life. However, for some families, the cost of these procedures can be a barrier. Big Fix was established to address this very challenge, ensuring that financial constraints do not prevent pets from receiving this vital care. By focusing on affordability and community support, Big Fix not only helps individual animals but also plays a significant role in improving animal welfare across Fayetteville and the wider Cumberland County. Their commitment extends beyond the surgical suite, aiming to help families keep their pets healthy and happy.

Jul 25, 2024 · Mary WebbGreat place to go when having it rough to feed our furry babies
Feb 17, 2025 · willis broadyShelby is fantastic. Have worked with her on and off for over 9years. Sent my daughter there on her own for the first time. She wasn't familiar but came back with so much confidence after rescuing puppies of her own and providing as much as she could to not repeat the cycle of another pregnant dog roaming the streets. They were helpful, welcoming, informative and even donated her the pups first toys and assistance through the process. They guided her on her next journey with what to look forward in the spay / neuter process. Growing up I raised them around fostering and rescuing but I ran the errands, arrangements and appt outside. They are amazing ppl. Shelby runs a tight ship and I wouldn't want it ANY other way. She is efficient, has a great smile, always on a mission to complete her mission while allowing us the opportunity to help us help our furry babies. SUCH a blessing!!! #Godspeed
