April 21 · shirl petryI stumbled across Dr. Sloat when my previous vet wouldn't go near my dogs. I have australian cattle dogs.. and they are not for the faint of heart. My rescue cattle dog is an exceptional pain in the butt. I think he was abused... he REALLY hates having his back end touched... like... at all (which is fun for the vet and groomers). Dr. Sloat and his team don't even hesitate. They understand. They talk soothingly to my dogs and get the job done. Some on the team even have cattle dogs. They get it and we all try our best to make vet visits as painless as possible. 100% would recommend this vet practice to everyone.
February 21 · Sherri WonderlandI was referred here by someone and I am so glad. From the first call I made, this was such a great experience. I wasn’t even sure what was wrong, or if it would be an emergency and they got me in immediately. Vet was great, very thorough and explained everything. Due to the fact that my cat had a belly full of food, we couldn’t see what we were concerned about. They called the next day to give me lab results and check on my cat. I said I couldn’t be sure if she was still having issues or if she was simply reacting to the pain meds. I loved that the vet consulted with the other vets and they decided that it was in my girl’s best interest to do a repeat xray. And thankful we did because she had eaten an entire sweatshirt string. They did everything they could to avoid surgery and manually remove it safely. Unfortunately this was not possible. Their compassion and understanding for how stressful this was truly showed what kind of place this is. They didn’t make me feel pressured and they were 100% up front about costs (which were extremely reasonable!!) The vet did the surgery and made sure to call me (after hours) to update me and called again first thing the following morning with another update. When I went to pick her up, the vet made sure to cover post op care and answer any questions I had. They called to check on her after we got home also, and even when I had a question then, they were so kind and made sure to double check that they were giving me the correct information. From top to bottom every interaction I had with the staff was so wonderful that I honestly would consider switching to them as her regular vet. Truly appreciate all they did and how they treated both of us.
August 03 · Audrey PDr Sloat is personable and takes his time with your pet. He is very thorough and genuinely cares. I've been taking my dog there for 14 years, and every staff member is always so kind on the phone and in person!
January 27 · Stacy WilliamsCaring and attentive staff. They came highly recommended and they did not disappoint. It was my dogs first visit and she barked the entire time she was there, but they were supportive and understood.
