- Friendly and Kind Staff: Multiple reviews consistently praise the entire staff for being "super friendly and kind." This positive atmosphere is crucial for making both pets and their owners feel at ease during visits, especially in potentially stressful situations.
- Compassionate and Caring Veterinarians: Dr. Chelsea Hoersten is specifically highlighted as being "so nice and caring," with clients noting that "you can tell they all truly love what they do!" This dedication to animal well-being fosters trust and confidence in the care provided.
- Efficient and Timely Service: Clients appreciate that the clinic makes it "easy to schedule appointments" and that they are "quick and efficient when you need anything." This responsiveness is vital for prompt diagnosis and treatment, minimizing wait times and stress.
- Comprehensive Diagnostic Capabilities: The clinic offers advanced diagnostics, including digital X-rays and ultrasound. It's important to note that an ultrasound can be used to guide a cystocentesis (a method of obtaining a sterile urine sample directly from the bladder with a needle), which is considered a gold standard for diagnosing certain urinary tract issues, as it reduces contamination that can occur with other urine collection methods. While the necessity of specific procedures should always be discussed, such tools indicate a commitment to thorough diagnostic work.
- Commitment to Patient Well-being: The overall positive sentiment about staff kindness and the observable love for animals suggests a clinic that prioritizes the comfort and care of its patients during all procedures.
- Long-Standing Community Presence: Creekside Animal Clinic has been serving the Norton area for many years, indicating a deep root in the community and a history of trusted service.
It is important for potential clients to note that while the quality of care and friendliness of staff are consistently praised, there have been some concerns raised by a past client regarding billing transparency and perceived necessity of certain procedures, specifically related to an $800 charge for a UTI. This suggests that while medical procedures are performed, clients should feel empowered to ask for detailed explanations of costs and procedures beforehand. The clinic's general positive feedback, however, suggests that these may be isolated incidents or areas where communication could be further enhanced to meet every client's expectations for clarity.

Creekside Animal Clinic Reviews
I am giving two stars because all of the staff was very kind and I appreciate how quickly they were able to see my dog. However, I feel like being charged $800 for a UTI is a little crazy. I feel like some of the charges were very unnecessary. The first visit they took my dog back unaccompanied for a urinalysis which I expected. They came back into the room to go over the results. I was told that my dogs urine was very dilute and they recommend bloodwork to make sure there was no issue with her kidneys. I agreed to the bloodwork and they never took my dog back to complete the blood work. I was charged $230 for that. (Total cost for the visit was $560). So with that being said, was the blood drawn without my consent when they obtained a urinalysis or did they never obtain blood and fraudulently charge me? (I hope that is not the case.) Fast forward to the follow up visit to make sure the antibiotic worked and her urine is now clear. I was in the room for maybe 5 minutes. The technician took her for another urinalysis and was maybe gone a total of 2 minutes. I never saw the doctor and was charged another $240 dollars. Upon leaving the facility, I was reading the invoice and there was a charge for an ultrasound of the bladder. I thought that was odd considering they never told me they were completing an ultrasound. I called to question the invoice and was told they have to use an ultrasound to obtain the urinalysis. I find that quite interesting because that was not the case for the first visit. I am no expert in veterinary medicine, but I do know that an ultrasound of the bladder is not necessary to obtain a urine sample via straight catheterization. I am very thankful that my dogs UTI has been treated, but I do not feel that treatment for a UTI should cost anywhere near $800.

Mar 24, 2025 · Amanda SmithI cannot say enough wonderful things about Creekside Animal Clinic! My dog can be very aggressive, and I was worried about how the visit would go. From the moment we arrived, the staff was incredibly patient and understanding. They waved us straight into a room so he wouldn’t have to see other dogs, which made a huge difference in keeping him calm. The entire team—an amazing all-female staff—was absolutely incredible with him. They knew exactly how to handle an aggressive dog, getting down on the floor with him, speaking gently, and showing him so much kindness. The doctor and staff never rushed us and made sure he felt as comfortable as possible. Their patience, compassion, and skill were beyond anything I could have hoped for.If you have a nervous or aggressive pet, this is the place to go. Thank you to everyone at Animal Creekside Clinic for treating my dog with such care and respect! We will absolutely be back.
Jan 31, 2025 · Hannah AgostaPrior to purchasing an online topical flea and tick prevention treatment from Creekside, my review would have been different, however, I called in advance to inquire about purchasing a topical for my fur baby that has been seen by Creekside, I was told the product I wanted to purchase would be a good option. I proceed to check out. Instead of getting a shipment confirmation I received an email from Creekside that my order had been cancelled because I did not bring her in "routinely"..They could have told me that when I called to inquire so I didn't waste my time! Not only will I not go back to them, I'll just get my flea and tick treatment from Petco!
Jun 19, 2025 · C DiggsThis vet clinic is absolutely amazing. I woke up to find my cat with half of her face swollen, eye glued shut and just miserable. I called and even though their day was already packed, they made time for me and my kitty. They understood how important it was that she be seen. Dr. Perry was kind, professional and didn't hesitate to get my kitty taken care of. So incredibly grateful to have the Creekside Animal Clinic staff help take care of my baby girl!!! I highly recommend their services.
