May 26, 2025 · DesUpdate: While vet’s themselves are great, the front desk is advanced levels of awful. The practice itself is unaccommodating with disabilities and no longer process appointment requests online. After making an appointment weeks in advance I arrive only to find they had lost it. I’ll keep using them for my elderly kitties because the vets are invested in their care, but I’m taking my younger ones elsewhere.Dr. Mathios and Dr. Tan are the best! Over the past many months my older cats have had a multitude of health issues, and they’ve both been knowledgeable, kind, and compassionate the whole time. Prices for veterinary care always seem expensive - but they aren’t disproportionately more than other providers in the area. I’m very grateful to live so close to such great care.
Mar 05, 2024 · Mary SchopperWe had a good experience coming here for a regular wellness appt, the vet was kind and thorough and knowledgable, but I think I will be looking around for other options in the neighborhood that are more affordable without compromising quality. I just want to highlight that the prices here are much higher than the average costs of vet care I've seen elsewhere in (at least) the Upper West Side and Park Slope. Exam fee is $108, vaccines go for $75 each and a heartworm test of all things is $124. I feel like standard NYC exam fees are $95-105 so whatever, but I've never seen a vet charge more than $65 for a vaccine and $80 for a heartworm test. $124 would get you a basic blood panel done at my old UWS vet.
Mar 11, 2025 · JasminWe had to say goodbye to our dog Crinklecut this past weekend, but Crown Heights Animal Hospital gave him the absolute best care possible over the past 3 and a half years. The doctors and nurses are kind and compassionate, and we always had our questions and concerns heard and answered. We're grateful they are our neighborhood vet, and hope someday to return with a new four-legged friend.
Apr 12, 2023 · Kate BReally kind and positive experience here. My dog is not a fan of the vet and is stubborn, they handled him with such care and calm. Very happy they’ll be invested in his care!
