This article aims to provide a clear, engaging, and informative overview of this unique practice, helping local New Yorkers discover a premier destination for their beloved felines.
The Feline Veterinary Medical Center is built on the philosophy that cats thrive in an environment tailored to their specific needs. Unlike general veterinary clinics that cater to a variety of animals, this center is entirely devoted to felines, creating a calm, stress-free atmosphere that reduces anxiety for even the most "spicy" or nervous cats. This specialization allows their veterinarians and staff to develop a deep understanding of feline-specific conditions, behaviors, and medical responses, leading to more accurate diagnoses and effective treatments. Drs. Lyn (Dr. Lauren Clough) and Dr. Clough (as mentioned in reviews, though often referring to the same person, Dr. Lauren Clough is confirmed as a veterinarian there) lead a team of compassionate professionals who are not only highly skilled but also genuinely love cats. Their commitment extends beyond medical procedures to ensuring every feline patient feels safe and comfortable, and every owner feels heard and supported. From routine wellness to complex internal medicine, the Feline Veterinary Medical Center strives to be the ultimate partner in your cat's health journey.

Feline Veterinary Medical Center Reviews
It was a fantastic place! More affordable than Manhattan and Bronx/Riverdale prices! I would have given five stars if not for the assistant on the front desk I'm not speaking about the girl who formerly worked for Inwood clinic in Upper Manhattan. I'm talking about the short young girl. She was impatient..I'm a disabled veteran who has some challenges. Hopefully she will learn to be a little more patient with the elderly. Can we all just get along? My cat however is doing great after his neutering!
Jun 28, 2025 · Soldier BoyIf you want the best possible care for your cat, this is the only practice you should be using. Dr Lyn and Dr. Clough are compassionate vets, always willing to take the time to answer your questions and give your feline exceptional care. The staff is wonderful as well, from Diane at the front desk to Brittany, the tech who looked after my cat. She was exceptionally patient with Booboo who can be quite difficult, but only said she was "spicy". They really love all cats here and that's what's most important and reassuring to me.
