Ford Veterinary Associates PC is a full-service hospital equipped to handle a wide array of animal health problems for family pets. Their comprehensive veterinary services are designed to ensure that pets live long, healthy, and happy lives. These services commonly include:
- Wellness Care & Preventative Medicine: This is a core focus, including thorough yearly physical exams, tailored vaccination programs to prevent various diseases (which can be fatal or expensive to treat), and essential parasite control (for fleas, ticks, and heartworm). They emphasize that early detection of health issues through regular checkups can significantly improve a pet's life span and quality.
- Diagnostics and Treatment: Utilizing modern diagnostic tools such as X-rays and ultrasound for accurate internal imaging. They also have an in-house lab for immediate blood work results and access to several outstanding outside labs for more extensive analysis and consultations with specialists. They manage chronic diseases, aiming to get pets back to health as soon as possible.
- Comprehensive Surgical Solutions: Offering a full range of surgical options, from routine procedures like spaying and neutering to more advanced surgeries, including orthopedic fixations like pinning and plating of fractures, and cruciate ligament repair. All surgical patients are constantly monitored by a fully trained and licensed Veterinary Technician using modern monitoring equipment.
- Routine Dentistry: Providing professional dental care to maintain oral health, which is crucial for a pet's overall well-being.
- Alternative Medicine: Dr. Charlotte Tutu, a veterinarian at the practice, has been certified with the American Veterinary Chiropractic Association for animal chiropractic services since 2001 and completed a course in veterinary acupuncture in 2005. These alternative methods are used for pain control and have shown success in many instances.
- End-of-Life Care: Providing compassionate support during a pet's final stages. As evidenced by a customer review, they handle the difficult process of euthanasia with care and understanding, even assisting with memorial requests like retrieving a collar.
- Puppy & Kitten Care: Specific wellness plans and guidance for the youngest family members.

Ford Veterinary Associates PC Reviews
I have a 21 year old feral rescue cat and I have taken him to this practice since he was a kitten. They have always been kind, understanding and compassionate (he still gets so stressed out just getting his nails clipped...throwing up, pooping, yowling) . His longevity is a testament to the care he's received. Would not take my pets anywhere else. Photo caption : "Who wants a treat? Raise your paw!" (click photo)
Jun 30, 2025 · Irene RykaszewskiTook our dogs here for years! Always received great help with lots of explanations. Our latest dog had to be put down yesterday. He was 16 and 5 months. Always hard to lose a pet! The last year we had been bringing him in for Librela shots to help with his arthritis. They worked great, and allowed him to walk comfortably. We forgot to ask for his collar and I wanted it. I called today they retrieved it for me, so thankful we have a memory of him. And appreciate the wonderful care all ours dogs have received.
Nov 27, 2024 · Regina KerninMy name is Aharon Meir . I can't thank you enough for helping me taking my Dogs Bella & Lady overseas. It's was long proses but now we're very happy
Jun 13, 2025 · Aharon MeirI do not care what any other review says, I will always hype and recommend this place, especially after my cat Bitz shattered her elbow in 3 different spots as a kitten. I called probably 8 places before I called Ford and no one would see her for like a day or two and wanted an insane amount upfront just for an office visit. I called Ford as a last resort and explained my situation. They squeezed her in that day, took x-rays and the vet there explained my options. Told me they could realign the elbow and cast it right there and now or I could spend over 5k on an invasive surgery that would stunt the growth of her leg. The cast would leave her with a stiff leg and limp the rest of her life but the leg would grow. With her still still growing, I opted for the cast. The end results? Because they did such an amazing job, not only does she not have a limp or stiff leg but I left their offices without draining my bank account even though I had to bring her in a few more times to be recasted. They are now the only vet I will go. Not to mention everyone working there was so friendly too. My cat is now 3 years old and still a pain in my behind, but I love her so much.
Feb 06, 2022 · Kitty AllisterI made an appointment for my 12 year old dog, Max, to ask if anything, besides surgery, could be done about his cataracts. When I asked Dr. O'Toole she said that she never heard of eye drops for dogs with cataracts! I saw a commercial on TV about it and did my own research but she had no knowledge of this and was looking it up on her phone. She looked in Max's eyes and did nothing more. I was charged $40 for the visit and $20 for a "comprehensive" physical exam. For $60 I got no answers about the cataracts. I hope Dr. O'Toole works on remaining "current" in her veterinarian practice. Max and I are disappointed.
