Wheatfield Animal Hospital Reviews
They took my ferret last week when we were not even clients due to cluster seizures and no other vet in the area would get us in. It was very scary for me and the staff was all very compassionate and helpful. I live far from here and they were really nice about the fact that the weather was bad and I ended up being late, the doctor saw us anyway. Unfortunately I ended up deciding to put my baby to rest, it was the hardest thing i had ever done, but they allowed me to be with him which means the world to me. No other vet in the area offered euthanization through a catheter for ferrets which was heartbreaking. I went there knowing that I may not bring him home and I may not be able to be with him when they helped him pass, and i was pleasantly surprised when I was allowed to be with him and noe i can take solace in the fact that i was able to hold and pet him the entire time. They also gave me molds of his foot prints and some of his fur per my request. Other vets lack a lot of bedside manner, but this was not the case in my experience. The entire staff was great. I wish i could remember their names. Thank you all..
Feb 10, 2025 · amanda hefnerLouie always gets a lot of attention here. They trim his nails, give him his allergy shot, and make sure he is a healthy, happy little guy. The staff is nice. They have a picture wall of the pets that go there:)
May 06, 2025 · Katherine RankinToday was my first visit as I had a health concern with my new kitten. Not only were they able to see him the same day, but every staff member was so kind. The office is very clean, organized, and the vet was very thorough and informative. I was very impressed.
Jun 27, 2025 · Denielle AveryI have been taking my dogs here for years, and I will continue to bring my animals here in the future. I have received only the best care and service from the team, and they are always so willing to answer my questions and work with me. I recently had to say goodbye to one of my dogs, and the staff was so kind and caring. I came to them because I did not feel like I had gotten the answers I needed from a local emergency veterinarian. Dr. Potalivo was absolutely phenomenal and I am glad that she was there to find and give me the answers that I needed, even if they were not the ones I had hoped for. She listened to all of my concerns and did not brush me off when I questioned the other diagnosis I had received. I HIGHLY recommend her if you're looking for a veterinarian. She has a lot of compassion and listens to you, which I feel are two of the signs of an amazing clinician. I know my dogs are in great hands.
Jun 17, 2025 · HollyWhen we came across a 2 week, old kitten very early on a Friday morning, I didn't think we'd be able to find a vet that would see him until the next week at the earliest. The staff here went out of their way to get him in at the soonest possible moment. Once we arrived, we were amazed at how great it smelled! The care and treatment we received were outstanding and our experience stands out as exceptional. I found the cost to be extremely reasonable too. Highly recommended.
