Tropicana Animal Hospital Reviews
Walked in without an appointment to euthanize our dog. Front office staff was pleasant and efficient. Once in the room we were met by Dr. Noto. By her behavior you would have thought it was her dog we were putting to sleep ( that is meant as a compliment). She took the time to explain to us everything that was happening and showed us the same care and compassion she did out boy. A great vet and a nice person.
Jun 28, 2025 · Drew RutbergI always come here and my family has come here since right before pandemic. The people on the phone during the day and in the early evening are always lovely and the girls at the desk do what they can to help everyone in a timely manner. I think that this place has always had a hard time keeping staff but since they went 24 hour, I think that is a very glaring concern for them. Appreciate everyone that works here as they are always compassionate and kind. I love seeing Dr. Gomez, Dr. Lay and Dr. Lee. My family tries to come in when Dr. Gomez is working and we have tried to follow her schedule since she went to the late evening shift. A few days ago I actually couldn’t come in until later in the evening with our dog so I ended up seeing Dr. Southern. My only concern with this doctor is that our pets have insurance. I have seen this doctor a few other random times over the years and it it always seems like it’s her only that it is like pulling teeth to get my pet’s records for her visits. All the other awesome docs I have mentioned are super fast and responsive when I need records for my pets. Like I said I appreciate and understand how busy this place is at all times and the amazing receptionists and doctors that work here. I just know it’s probably going to be hard to get my pets records. I submit all insurance claims myself so I always make it a point to try and ask the doctors/staff while I am on site to try and initiate that process to get the particular records I need. One time I had to call over and over and over and over and over to try to get this doctors records. I know it isn’t the staff because when I leave messages or come in I see them write messages to this doctor or escalate the records request. I understand that the staff cannot do anything when it is a particular doctor holding up the patient’s request. (I am a healthcare worker and understand lol). I just need this doctor’s medical record in a timely manner, I’m sure it’s stressful for her staff to try and keep on her about these things. I love Tropicana and the staff and doctors though! I really like talking to Juliana, Shelly, Natalie over the phone and the girls who usually help me up front are Paloma, and Adriana when I come during the day. Thank you!
Jun 11, 2025 · Rev MarnI've been waiting for the next snow, I came in with my pup Black Bear. He had contracted parvo from a local dog pound for eating someone's Uber Eats. The price to monitor in-house was very expensive and the Vet was very straight up. She gave us the option to take him home and learned me all the knowledge I needed to tend to my boy. He was 2 months at the time. He is now 1 years old. And the sweetest little lad, thank you to all the animal caring staff there.
Feb 03, 2025 · DaReal MVPThis animal hospital does not care about the mental pain that they cause a person along with the turma they cause the animals when they are causing the people to not visit their animal when they are in boarding just because they are unable to make a payment they did this to me and my three cats and said I have abandoned my cats when I have not I would call everything other day to check on them not to mention I would visit with them alot also so they communicated with them about my situation and had put my cats for adoption and they were very unprofessional when a doctor tells u over the phone that she would make sure I never get my cats again which is not right and I miss them everyday of my life. Anyone who loves their cats knows the pain I have whoever adopted them plz take care of them, and if possible, let me know. I would like to visit with them and also thank u. it's been 4 long painful months that I cry my self to sleep if I would have known that u guys were going to be taken from us I would have never tooken my Lil bundles of joy there plz forgive me a d know that we love you three with all of our hearts.
Jun 19, 2025 · Monique LealI was hesitant to go all the way across town to this place especially because it only had a 3.9 rating. Despite my reservations I went hoping to find a vet that could help my dog. I’m glad I did. Dr Gomez and the rest of their amazing staff saved my dog’s life! I had 3 other animal hospitals tell me euthanize my 3 year old dog because of bladder stones. This place treated my fur baby like he mattered. We are a month postoperative and my little guy is happy and healthy! I’m forever grateful and will continue to using them for his future services!
