I cannot say enough wonderful things about this clinic. My dog is extremely nervous at the vet and has a hard time finding any state of calm during a visit. This clinic is the first one where she finally feels comfortable and safe with everyone in the staff. We have been seeing Lisa weekly for rehab and laser therapy appointments and she has been nothing but wonderful every time. I cannot recommend their Rehabilitation Program more as they have provided a wide variety of treatment options and exercise programs to help get my dog back to her normal active self. Dr. Meluch has also been wonderful and knowledgeable in answering any questions I have had along the way, really taking into account my concerns. My dog has a lot of health issues and she has been extremely helpful in trying to find solutions to her problems. Everyone has worked to make my dog feel safe in an environment where she normally would not and I cannot express how grateful I am for the staff. If you are searching for Rehab or just general veterinary services, Animal Wellness and Healing Center is a excellent option for you and your pet!

5/5 stars because it won’t let me give any more, but if I could then I would give this place 1000000/5 stars. This clinic saved my dog’s life!!! I could not say enough amazing things about this place and I honestly couldn’t recommend it any more to anyone in search of a veterinary clinic. I started bringing my baby Skylar (not a baby since she’s 8 but she’ll always be my baby) here last summer. I first brought her in for a possible UTI problem. They gave her medicine and cleared it all up for her. From that first visit and the follow up appointment, I knew that this was a great clinic filled with good people who truly cared about their patients. However, after this past month and what unfolded for Skylar, my opinion on this clinic rose above and beyond. Skylar went in mid-February for some symptoms I was noticing. They said that she was possibly on the brink of an infection, prescribed her some medicine and we went on our way. The last few days after finishing her medication something just seemed off and she was having other symptoms. I brought her in yesterday and found out that she had pyometra (a uterine infection). They ran blood work and realized that the infection was quickly worsening. We were going to have to get her spayed immediately. I was thinking about doing the surgery on Monday (few days out), but the amazing vets at this place offered to stay after hours to do the surgery because they believed it could quickly turn bad. I trusted them and allowed them to do the surgery yesterday night. I was very very worried about Skylar, but I knew that she was in the best hands around. They finished late last night so Skylar had to stay at the clinic until after I got off work earlier this afternoon. They called me as soon as she was out of surgery and in recovery, they went to check on her in the middle of the night to make sure she was still doing good, and they called me first thing this morning to assure me that she was still doing good. I came in after work today to pick her up and she was sitting up front with the secretaries just chilling with them. I couldn’t be any more thankful for Dr. Meluch and the rest of the staff here. They treated my baby with the utmost importance, care, and love. They were very knowledgeable about this infection and knew they needed to act quick, so they did. They even told me after the surgery that if they hadn’t, it 100% could’ve turned worse overnight. I am so thankful for them staying late to do her surgery, checking in on her, promptly updating me on her condition, and babying her while she had to stay at the clinic. Not only is their care amazing, but they are very understanding people as well. I am only a 20 year old college student, so I don’t have too much extra money to spend. This was an unexpected emergency so obviously I didn’t have enough money to pay for it on the spot. I was able to put down all that I had towards the cost of the bill, then when I came to pick her up today I was able to pay the rest. It was such an amazing experience. They may be a bit pricy, but just to show you guys how much I trust having my pet under their care, I was willing to pay whatever price was thrown at me here rather than going to a low-cost clinic. I would recommend this place to anyone because, believe me, the price is worth it for sure. They care about your animals and want to see them at their best!!! Also, they will absolutely NOT do anything past the exam without asking your permission first and showing you a printed out estimate for everything. Don’t be afraid to discuss your pricing options here either, because they have quite a few. It has been a whirlwind of emotions and decisions these past few days, but I know that Skylar and I couldn’t have gotten through it without the amazing staff here. Attached is pictures from when I brought her in yesterday, when I went to pick her up today, and now that she is home. She is much more comfortable now and I am just so happy and thankful that this is my veterinary clinic!!!!

The best veterinary staff I have ever been to! I took my senior dog, Rudy, to Dr. Hamilton for the last few months of his life. She is extremely knowledgeable and cares deeply for the animals she takes care of. The whole team works hard to try to provide the best care possible for your pet and it shows. Rudy had been to a couple vets before we had started seeing Dr. Hamilton and he was by far the most comfortable with her and the staff here! I would highly recommend this veterinary team to anyone looking for a new Vet!

10000000/10Super nice people. I've never been very pleased with past vets, not horrible just nothing stuck out great to me like this vet. My dog got X-rays done and the doctor explained everything to me that was on the x-rays, and if there were to be anything bad he showed me where it would have been(thankfully nothing wrong with him) he didn't push me to get X-rays at all. I told him just to do them to make sure nothing was wrong. I feel like the price is good and they have a pet savings plan never seen that before anywhere. I really do feel like they care about the animals they see and aren't all about the money like other vets. I love how the doctor took the time to show me everything in the x-rays and actually explained everything, every question I asked was answered. The staff was super kind also! Glad I found a vet that I actually love, I'd highly recommend them to anyone!

Animal Wellness and Healing Center has seriously become our new trusted center for all of our vet care and therapy needs. We highly recommend and promise that you will love it here, too! Whether you're looking for a more holistic approach, new integrated or the good old fashioned way there is a veterinarian and approach here just for you that will meet your needs, expectations and you can set up your therapy plan of care sessions right here at the same facility. My 18 yr. old doxie had a serious health concern. She had a stroke and lost use of her hinds, leg weakness and some cranial nerve damage. She was rushed to MedVet in Akron. With no appropriate answers other than to keep her comfortable and prepare for the worst, and same 'unsure results' at her usual vet with no same day time slots open for us, so I called Animal Wellness for help and a third opinion and the front end office girls made an accommodation to get her in the same day to see Dr. Padayao. He's a wonderful and caring doctor who took excellent care of my baby, gave us a diagnosis and began therapy on her. My Molly being 18 years old had a combination of issues that were addresses thoroughly and diligently by this wonderful physician. He gave her a chance, and she progressed under his care. She was also recommended to their in house physical therapist, Lisa. Lisa is phenomenal! She's kind and professional and really knows her line of work. We look forward to her therapy sessions and she always goes above and beyond. She selflessly took the time to build Molly a pt. cart to assist us with our in home therapy time and taught us exercises that we were able to do at home, to help make Molly stronger. Molly was also seen by Dr. Meluch, who specializes in rehabilitation and pain, which was extremely important due to Molly's age, mobility issues and current therapy regimen. Dr. Meluch also offers acupuncture, right there at the facility. She was honest and straight forward with her trustworthy recommendations and opinions. She's also kind, caring and loving. She never hesitates to listen, advise and help when needed. I later learned that she owns the practice, too! Makes perfect sense, because along with her passionate medical expertise, behind this facility is a group of people that devote their hearts to you. Here, you're more than just a patient. It's more than just monetary. Your concerns are valid, they listen, go above and beyond, answer your questions, help, you're permitted to call and speak to the physicians and most importantly, you feel safe and trusting. You're treated like family. I sincerely am forever grateful to this establishment and all of the people involved that make it great! Way to go, Animal Wellness, and thank you for everything that you do and have done for us!!
