★ 5★ 4★ 3★ 2★ 1i can’t recommend this place enough. in april 2024, i brought my 11 month old puppy Pickle in after a referral from our primary vet, and the same day, he was in surgery for a elbow arthroscopy with ulna osteotomy & bone graft. the recovery for a puppy who couldn’t run or play for 6 weeks wasn’t easy for either of us, and his tiny leg rejected the pin that was placed within days, resulting in another rush back to their office. still, i felt supported every step of the way and the staff was accommodating and patient in what was a pretty stressful time. surprise veterinary surgeries are not always in the budget, and it was such a relief that this clinic accepted care credit (as our primary vet does not).here we are, 8 months post op, and it’s like the injury and surgery never happened! no more limping or lameness, and running (away from me when i am trying to get him to listen) is one of his favorite things to do!thank you so much to dr dean and the entire staff for taking such good care of my boy.
December 23 · Bridie Marie CorbettMy 12-year old dachshund hurt her back 2 weeks ago and was paralyzed. Dr. Dean performed surgery and now two weeks later my pup is walking. Great welcoming and caring staff. Just the best!
June 12 · Craig DriskellI am a junior in college for Animal Science and have grown up with horses and dogs, so I’ve been around a good amount of vet clinics. This one blew me away. My dog had to have ACL surgery. The surgery was expensive, BUT this was the first vet I’ve been to that went over the entire itemized bill with me explaining what everything was without me having to ask, before I was billed. The vet techs were all nice, and the surgeon himself was very knowledgeable. I had 3 weeks of laser treatment done on the injured leg post surgery, and the tech performing the laser treatment was named Ariel. Super sweet girl, she also did the treatment every week so my dog didn’t have to have a new person handling her. When we arrived on the last day for treatment, my dog was actually screaming in excitement in the parking lot like we were at the dog park… for a vet appointment! This is also the cleanest and professional vet facility I have been to. Highly recommend.
July 24 · Halle JohnsonDr. Dean did a great job on my dog dallas TPLO surgery. He made a full recovery and is back to running around like it never happened. If you have the money it's 100% worth it in my opinion. My boy could hardly walk and was in so much pain. And now my 10 year old beagle acts like a puppy again. I recommended Dr. Dean, and fort worth veterinary surgical, and a dasuquin supplement. Also please don't go spending thousands of dollars and not take the recovery process serious. I was meticulous with his rest, and short leash walks for at least 12 weeks. Tell your pups they are good dogs for me
January 29 · JimmyDr Dean and his staff are amazing! The customer service was always friendly and helpful, and we could tell every member of staff really cared about our dogs well being. Dr Dean is a masterful surgeon that I highly recommend. Our 2 year old shelter pup ruptured both rear ACL requiring surgery. Dr Dean did not try to push the most expensive option, but the option he felt was best for Harper. Bailey and Mrs Dean are truly great people, they sent us pictures of Harper sleeping after her surgery to let us know everything went great and she was ok. They even gave her extra belly rubs and attention to ease her pain. My wife and I read stories of very long recovery times and some dogs that never fully recovered from this surgery. Dr Dean gave us detailed instructions to aid in Harpers recovery, and we are pleased to say that within 3 months of her surgeries she was walking on her own. 6 months after her surgery she was running, jumping, and playing like a pup again! Now 1 year after surgery she has no signs of ever being injured, and is one of the most athletic dogs I’ve ever known. She can sprint across the yard, jump and catch her frisbee, and jump through mommas hula hoop, all thanks to the expertise of Dr Dean and his staff. Thank you all for giving Harper Jane the athletic life she deserves!
