★ 5★ 4★ 3★ 2★ 1Unfortunately I lost my fur baby Bear on 2-4-25, this clinic has the best vets, techs, staff. Everyone is amazing, kind, and care for your companions. I brought him to blue pearl about 3 weeks ago because his health declined rapidly, but they told me he was perfectly healthy and sent us off. We brought him straight in the next day here, and saw Dr.Morgan, she ran blood test, cbc, X-rays, but couldn’t see anything for certain out of the normal, only his white blood cells where higher and his red blood cells where low. They sent us with meds hoping it was just an infection, unfortunately it was not. We brought him in again and I don’t know the name of who we saw but she was awesome as well. She recommended an ultrasound and found that bear had a mass on his spleen. He needed urgent surgery, and I scraped everything I had together to get him the surgery, they got him in sooner than booked, but they found the mass was also wrapped around his liver and there just was nothing more they could do for him. Even over the phone call with Dr. Sandy, i felt his compassion and knew they only wanted the best for him. We had to make the horrible decision to put him to rest, but he was no longer in pain and i know he was cared deeply for in his last hours. Thank you everyone for helping my Bear while in pain and helping him go to the rainbow bridge. Long live Bear.

Interesting you left out the part that you sent the medical records to an in state vet; instead of the one I requested and provided the email address for. Did you actually follow up with the correct vet or the one that you inaccurately sent the records to? Or did you just assist the groomer that contacted your office for this information, instead of the veterinarian? Thank you for that, it was appreciated. However, this does not constitute following up with the receiving vet as your records indicate. Your contacting my friend in the hospital was not to update her; but to request that I remove or soften my review. Did you really feel that contacting her while in the hospital instead of me was appropriate? Did you really feel that his was more important than her recovery? Did you really feel this could not wait until she was out of the hospital to address it? This does not constitute following up with the owner as your records indicated. Considering this was a whole morning wasted dealing with your staff (mostly on hold); patience was given. Additionally, we have pets ourselves and have dealt with this before as we travel and need this information from time to time. We have never been treated so rudely or had this type of situation so messed up as provided by your clinic. Additionally, the levels of kindness, respect and patience are reflective of what was received by your staff. This set the tone for all further interactions and it is up to you, your staff and or clinic to change that. If I was your customer...I would be looking for another veterinarian and never would have called back after Sidney hung up on me.Original Review: We are pet sitting for a friend that is in the hospital. Called the Indianola Vet Clinic to have the pet's shot records emailed to an out of state vet where we live so we could get her in for a bath and nail trim. Spoke to Sidney at IVC. When I called the first time, I was told that she couldn't hear me and she immediately hung up on me. I called back again and spoke to Sidney a second time and explained to her what we needed. I asked when the request for the transmission would take place; she stated that she just hit send. I contacted our local vet Town & Country Veterinary Clinic in our state to confirm they received the vaccination records so we could schedule her for her appointment, and they never received them. I won't be calling the Indianola Veterinary Clinic a third time. Obviously, without the vaccination records, our vet clinic won't schedule her for the bath and nail trim (fee TBD) prior to being seen by the vet which requires an up front fee over the phone of $55 prior to booking the appointment; and they will require the animal to have all the shots again (fee TBD). Kind a makes you wonder what kind of care the pets receive if this is the way they treat the customers. Pretty simple and easy request so we can take care of our friends pet. This should not be this complicated or costly. You would think that the two clinics would be able work together to resolve this and provide each other with the records they need to resolve this; but no they can't. Because of their policies and inability to call/email or transmit records, we can't get our friend's pet taken care of. If this is what we have to go through to take care of a pet that isn't ours...what do the actual pet owners have to go through? Maybe it isn't that pet owners aren't responsible; but the policies and actions of the clinics themselves that make it impossible for pet owners seek proper and humane care for their animals. I give up. Thanks Indianola Veterinary Clinic and Town & Country for all your help. Personally, I would be ashamed of myself if this was my business and my actions would be discouraging pet owners from taking care their animals properly.
July 22 · Mark PritchardBeen bringing my dog here for 5 years, never had a problem. He's never been sick until now. Itching like crazy, raw skin etc. The Dr gave him 2 meds. He ended up worse a week later. While there, had his nails trimmed. Keep in mind, he's already out of sorts and in pain with this infection and he comes out with his nails looking like this and hurting because they are pretty much gone. He will hardly walk due to it. I've never seen such a poor job. We won't be back. Fail x2 fir almost 400. Let me just say tho, staff up front is amazing. So friendly and caring. A lot of the reason we've been coming for so long.
August 30 · Melissa ChapmanAbout an hour wait until you're called in, but you sit in your vehicle with your pet...so they are more comfortable, so this is fine with us.They were down 2 vet doctors , so were backed up a bit, which we understood.The doctor that saw our cat gave us 100% of her attention, was very thorough, caring, & knowledgeable. She answered every question we had for her. We didn't feel as if she was trying to "hurry up & push us out" at all.🙂

I have a very sickly kitty with feline herpes and IBS and they take the time to listen to your pets history and have great recommendations to find the solution that works for you and your pet. We’ve seen Dr. Keck and Dr. Stumpf and I am so pleased and thankful for their compassion and care of my kitty. Fairly priced and worth the few extra dollars for the level of care you receive compared to some of the popular low cost clinics in DSM. Definitely worth the drive down from DSM!
