Lauralyn J. Brown DVM Reviews
My almost 5 month old puppy was brought there. They told me they were bringing him out back to wash off his paw. All of a sudden he came back and was given three shots. They kept trying to push the third one on me, I wasn’t even in the room or told he was going to be given the shots without me present, not even see what was administered to him. I kept asking to speak to a vet and dismissed, telling me there was no vet available. Then the receptionist was extremely rude. He was given a vaccine I had never given him before, not given any paperwork on it any warnings, anything just pushed straight out the door with my puppy! I ended up having to go to the South Deerfield emergency vet about two hours later because he couldn't walk sit or stand. He couldn’t even lift his head up. He was throwing up everywhere.. He ended up with pneumonia from aspiration. He had to be put on oxygen for almost 4 days. He had IVs medication and was left alone in a strange place away from his family. I lost time and pay at work, never mind inherited a huge vet bill now. This vet's office is a horrible place, something like a death row. They need to be shut down if they cared so much they saw me insisting on speaking to a vet that day they knew they did something wrong poisoning My Puppy. I kept asking to speak to a vet who knows what they injected into my puppy without my permission to do it without me present. I was not told he was going back there to get shots told he was going back there to get his paw washed off. I was not asked they took it upon themselves I also was given no paperwork on what was given to him what to look for warning signs anything. What are they above the law THEY ARE NOT GOD!!!!! A bunch of incompetent Inhumane people trying to be Dr. Kevorkian for animals!!!!! a sad excuse for a vet they should not even be able to run business. They are a joke!!!!! More like a nightmare!!!!!!!! Anyone who cares about their animal in the slightest will not attempt to go to this nightmare of a vet!!!!!* UPDATE He is now paralyzed Unable to walk!!!!!!
Jul 02, 2025 · Brandy BlackAfter our beloved vet of many years retired several years ago, we've struggled to find someone we could truly trust with our pets' care. That search ended when we met Dr. Brown and her exceptional team for a time-sensitive procedure. When our Siberian Husky suddenly needed eye removal surgery, we were devastated and worried. Dr. Brown stepped in with a level of compassion and professionalism that immediately put us at ease. Her communication was clear and thorough throughout the entire process, explaining everything we needed to know without overwhelming us during such a stressful time. What truly amazed us was that Dr. Brown performed the procedure at an affordable cost. In a world where pet healthcare costs can be prohibitive, her fair and reasonable pricing made all the difference for our family. The exemplary staff deserves equal praise - every team member treated our family and our husky with genuine care and kindness. They were communicative, efficient, and somehow managed to maintain a warm, friendly atmosphere despite the serious nature of our visit. While we only anticipated visiting for this procedure, I am pleased that we've finally found our new permanent veterinary home with Dr. Brown and her team. If you're looking for a veterinarian who combines medical excellence with true compassion, look no further. We couldn’t be more grateful. Highly recommend to all pet parents!
May 14, 2025 · Jesse McMillanThis is what a small community veterinary office should be! Caring staff, who never make you feel rushed, or judged. Always so loving with the animals. I unfortunately recently lost a dog we had for 13 years and had to put down one of our pet chickens here and they were fantastic! Wonderful people, thank you all so much! ❤️

Nov 01, 2023 · Laurie HinesLast year we rescued a senior chihuahua with terrible teeth and clearly no experience with ever having his mouth touched. Dr. Brown and her team have been so patient and accommodating with him (even when he honks like a goose and rolls like a gator), and they recently took care of his much-needed dental surgery. 10 teeth down, 8 to go and he is a whole new puppy! The office has always given us thorough directions and even called up the day after his surgery to check in. Thank you Dr. Brown!
