★ 5★ 4★ 3★ 2★ 1I had taken my dog to the Monticello Animal Hospital, for his yearly shots. While the staff was very quick to get us in and out. I didn't feel like the amount of money for the exam was worth it. We were in there for maybe a total of 5 minutes. And the Vet didn't exactly examine him, other than checking his heartbeat, and that's it. The vet didn't look at his teeth, or any other checking as you'd think they'd do, in a yearly appointment. And then the price went up $42 dollars, from last year to this year, while I understand that we have inflation, still doesn't justify the higher prices, and not exactly worth the price that we had to pay.May have to find a vet for my dogs yearly appointment next year, definitely wasn't happy with the price, nor was I happy with the service that was provided. They weighed my dog, the doc then came in, and listened to heartbeat, and couldn't get the various needed shots, and the blood test for the heartworm test, and we were literally shoved out the door. The in and out service was great, just the price of the bill doesn't justify the service that was performed.
August 27 · Joey QueenanGreat doctor and staff with the exception of one (Tami) who’s a bit talk down to you. Maybe she was having a bad day but I heard her on the phone taking to a vendor who was going to deliver something and she was just kinda rude to them. Wasn’t wonderful to me either but whatever. Maybe a bad day. All other staff are very nice.UPDATE. I read a few other reviews after posting this and maybe it wasn’t an isolated incident about being rude at times and making people feel less than. I guess I’ll find another vet.
August 05 · StevenMarley had his first doctor’s appointment today and we could not be more pleased with Dr Hageman and his team. He cleaned Marley’s ears (clearly he went over the top) did a very thorough exam, and administered vaccines. Dr Hageman answered all our questions regarding discipline, diet, vaccines and gave us instructions for after hour emergencies. We love you and your staff already Doc, Marley has a lifetime veterinarian❤️ thank you so much, The Brophys
September 13 · Tabitha LocklearI don’t usually write reviews, but this really is just annoying. First I been coming here for a while they started out great and now they are just slacking. 1. I brought my dog for an appointment and it took almost an hour to get her in, even arriving 15 mins early. 2. I have a cat on their VIP plan, just know if you cancel it’s $25 and They dont tell you that the 10% does nothing. It will just be added to this VIP and you think you’re paying $55 a month. YOU WILL STILL HAVE TO PAY! Just don’t be fooled that you have to just pay extra for nothing. THEY ARE TAKING ADVANTAGE OF PEOPLE AND PETS! This is just wrong when people come for their pets and money is tight and you’re piling on things that my pets don’t need! This is why I’m not spending $1,098 on one tooth for my cat, they couldn’t even tell if she was fixed. When I went to a different vet, they took everything that Monticello couldn’t do for me. Definitely don’t stop here for further advice for your pets because you won’t get it.
September 24 · A HI loved how fast they were able to get my dog in because she was sick. On the other hand I felt like I was being talked down too and being treated like I was a child. It took everything in me to hold back the tears when they forced me to muzzle my dog. My dog was petrified the whole time and they treated her like she was some kind of monster that was going to eat them! Safe to say we will not be coming back to this place!
