Choosing a vet is about more than just finding a list of services; it's about finding a partner in your pet's health. For residents of Monticello and the surrounding Indiana communities, Twin Lakes Pet Clinic is a valuable option. Its standout feature is its compassionate, gentle, and fear-reducing approach to care. For pets that are easily stressed or anxious, this kind of environment can make a world of difference, turning a once-dreaded vet visit into a positive, even welcomed, experience. While some past customer reviews raise concerns about specific policies and communication—specifically around prescription fulfillment—it is important to note that Indiana state law dictates the circumstances under which veterinarians must provide prescriptions to clients. A veterinarian with a valid veterinarian-client-patient relationship must provide a written prescription upon request, unless prohibited by state or federal law or to prevent inappropriate use. The clinic's ability to offer a calm and effective environment for routine care and minor surgery, combined with its accessibility, makes it a noteworthy choice for pet owners seeking a place where their animal's emotional well-being is a top priority.

★ 5★ 4★ 3★ 2★ 1They took such good care of my fur baby! Kind, compassionate, and gentle. They use something for calming and it works wonders! My baby isn't even scared of the vet after a few visits here and he is scared of everything.
August 14 · Tiphany WhiteI have never in my 20+ years of dog ownership have a vet clinic refuse to send in a med script because they sell them in clinic. Why would you make your patients pay more for something when its available elsewhere. I guess your margins on meds are better than the 3 dogs we brought to you. We are done! Very rude and unprofessional as well when I called in. Lastly, clean up the cat piss. I nearly vomited last time I was in there.Since I cannot reply, I'll edit. The response, is a complete lie. My fiance called earlier in the day and was told they do not send scripts to outside pharmacies. I thought that was weird, so I called later. Guess what??? I was told the same thing, they do not send scripts to pharmacies. However, they added they definitely don't do it for meds they have and sell in the clinic. So, what you see below is a lie. Furthermore, it is against the law to refuse a script to patient. Indiana Code § 25-38.1-4-5. When I pick up my pets' medical records tomorrow I expect to have a written script for the medication. If not, I will be informing the Indiana Board of Veterinary Medical Examiners.Do things the right way. Don't be rude. Especially, don't hang up on your clients. This is a small town. Bad gas travels fast.
August 01 · Thomas HarberAwesome place very good with animals amd I could sense that each worker and the doc loves and cares about animals and their well being. I highly recommend!! My dogs chuckle and Jose actually like the vet
May 05 · Becky BlamerIf you don’t value your pet’s life bring them here. My cat went in to drain a hematoma. Simple, procedure right? Wrong. They called my wife (who loved this cat more than life) and just said “your cat never woke up how do you want to proceed?” They claimed she had a preexisting condition, but this cat had regular checkups and nothing was ever said about preexisting conditions. You can’t tell me they managed to kill my wife’s cat, but pushed the blame on us to avoid a lawsuit. Want to know why they are so cheap? Because your pet’s life is at risk every time you take it here.
May 04 · Joe RussellI took my cat here bc he was acting sick and wouldn’t move they told me he had a broken leg, didn’t do x-ray or nothing just sent him home, next day I took him some where else and he had emergency surgery to get part of his intestines removed. Highly do not recommended this vet
