★ 5★ 4★ 3★ 2★ 1e couldn’t be more thankful for the care we received at Wildcat Valley Animal Clinic! Our sweet Katie girl took quite the jump and ended up with a broken bone in her paw! After six long weeks (and several times of Katie removing her own splint—ugh!), she’s better than ever. Dr. Baker and her staff were amazing to work with, and we feel so lucky to have such an awesome vet on our side!
July 18 · Rachel EmmertDr. Dave saw our puppy who is really sick. Well she's not exactly a puppy but she's 5 years old. In one month's time she lost 10 lb. Dr Dave gave her an anti-inflammatory and antibiotic pill together that she takes for the next week. Her blood work all came back great he felt around and said she feels great just that she was running a high fever and she is not feeling so good. Upon her pill taking all the way up into this afternoon here it seems like she might be coming around. Dr Dave called us on Saturday cuz we saw him on Thursday and he was checking up on us for her so we really appreciate him. And we appreciate Dr Baker too she's just as great. Terrific staff and prices are very reasonable especially with a puppy being sick
July 01 · Susie TolbertranceDr. Dave has seen my fur baby Ginger since she was a pup and she's 13 now. You can tell that he sincerely cares and knows his stuff! The only person I've taken her to is Dr. Dave but I'm sure anyone else he works with is just as good! They are also very affordable. Highly recommend!
June 26 · DarianMy old kitty had to have a majority of his teeth removed due to the negligence of his previous owners. Not only were they able to schedule me so soon, but their prices were reasonable. They were able to do a blood panel, update his vaccines, AND remove all the infected teeth in one day! They were able to answer some questions I had the day after as well. The people that work here are kind, knowledgeable, and understanding. If you're looking for somewhere with reasonable prices and great staff, then you've found the right place!
April 18 · Emilee MessmanWish I could speak better of this place. I love their Clinic on Sagamore! But I hugely regret getting my puppy neutered here. When I went to pick him up his scrotal sac was swollen and red. Turns out he ALREADY had a scrotal hematoma (blood clot) from their poor work. They didn’t even mention any concerns or acknowledge that was abnormal. Also, they made a huge incision (much larger than my previous dog who was done at the old Low Cost Spay and Neuter Clinic). This incision is not only huge, but was poorly closed and twisted. They sent us home with no cone (had to go buy one elsewhere) and one pain relief pill to be split in half over the next two days.5 days later he’s miserable and can’t walk or urinate. Today I took him in to VCA Paw Prints Animal Hospital. They tried to be kind, but were surprised by the same two things as we had been - how poorly our puppy had been stitched and how little pain medication he’d been offered. VCA staff were super patient and helpful and treated him so sweetly. We left with pain killers for 5 more days (enough to take morning AND night!), sedatives to help him rest, and antibiotics to make sure he doesn’t have/get a bladder infection. Two hours after we got home he already can walk and seems so much happier!Wildcat has a lot of good reviews, but I should have paid attention to the bad ones. They do have two vets, so maybe the other one is better, but even with a properly done surgery, they should at least give 5 days of pain meds, not 2. Be safe and take your pet elsewhere for major surgeries.
