Pet Emergency and Trauma Services Reviews
I want to thank the staff that was working the morning of Sunday, March 29, 2025. Salem, my best friend, and the love of my life was being treated by my local vet. Despite all our efforts, nothing seemed to be working. Sunday morning Salem nudged me with his nose to wake me up, then collapse in my arms. Me and my friend share our dogs, and they are never left alone. Either I'm there or he's there or Salem and his girl, Scout are with each other. So, I immediately called him and told him Salem was going down fast. He was there in 3 minutes! He put Salem in my car and the 3 of us were off, racing to Kannapolis. I called your office and explained the situation and was told you'd be ready for our arrival, thinking it was going to be surgery and we'd be bringing him home. But, woefully, it didn't happen that way, Salem passed on the exit before we got there. When we arrived we were grief stricken and honestly in shock. That's when 2 angels came out to meet us with a gurney. They took the 3 of us to a private room where we could mourn over his sudden passing. The dignity and respect they showed us was heartfelt and profound. My friend and Salem's dad took care of all the final arrangements because I couldn't. He explained we wanted Salem's ashes, but no urn or other remembrances. He paid for the ashes and we quietly headed home. A few days later we went back to pick Salem up, and we were moved beyond words, I was handed a bag with Salem's ashes in a beautifully carved urn along with his paw print and other items. The love, the kindness, and the respect for animals makes Pet Emergency & Trauma Services, my hero. They made sure Salem received a royal send-off, and I will forever be thankful. PETS went above and beyond. And I now know a heart can be forever broken while yet feel full of deep appreciation and gratitude.Sincerely,Meg Freeman
Apr 08, 2025 · meg PeckWe brought our pup Rocco in and he needed immediate attention. From Tests, blood transfusion and medication we couldn’t have been happier with the service we received from everyone here! Highly recommend them for your immediate needs.
Jun 13, 2025 · Catherine ROur dog was acting strange and breathing funny so at around 9 pm we took him in. Turned out he checked out fine and was more just nervous and anxious. The Vets here put him through a thorough check and did blood work and everything. They explained their findings really well and did a good job.
Jun 22, 2025 · Jim WYesterday was one of the hardest days of my life. I had to say goodbye to my sweet boy very suddenly. The whole team was so empathetic and compassionate. I can't stay thank yall enough for being there for Herb and my family during this crappy time. No matter what it sucked, but yall made him and us a lot more comfortable with it all.
Feb 24, 2025 · Maren McCraryI have had to take two pets here. One was in one of the worst situations a pet owner can have, we had to suddenly say goodbye to a pet of 17 years. They were very kind and helped to ease her symptoms while they waited for my husband to arrive so we could both be there. The second, which photos are attached (only after healing), are where they helped my cat after and accident. We thought that she would always look different because her face had extensive facial skin injuries but they did everything they could for her that day. They were clear that her stitches may not hold but they did and she's healed surely wonderfully. If it was not for her shaved paw and neck it would be very hard to tell she had an accident at all. It's been less than 3 weeks.I hate to be so gruesome but when we found her she looked like she could have been a prop in a horror movie and until we broke her out of shock and she moved we didn't think she would be ok enough to make it. But here she is, completely normal.Of course it was not just stitches. They kept her overnight on oxygen and monitored her. She needed good care and she got it.They are very nice and they are good doctors. Just be prepared to wait.
