ReadyPet Animal Hospital Reviews
I always receive great service when I take my dogs to Ready Pet! I’ve been taking them here for about 2 years now and the staff are always friendly, helpful, and informative.
May 26, 2025 · Kennedy CulmerNo one followed up with lab test results and treatment plan while our pup suffered with watery and bloody stools for days. I had to call in and check, both times they were trying to push for their $75 probiotics which I don’t need. Also tried to trick me into getting in house lab works and injections that my pup didn’t need.
Jun 18, 2025 · TiffanyReady Pet is a wonderful place to take your fur baby. They have some of the most genuine people I have ever met and they love my Sully and he loves them as well! Keep up the great work guys!
Mar 18, 2025 · YeVonne SawyersComplete disappointment! Will never give them business again. We brought our Rottweiler in for a cyst on his elbow. They said it just needed to be drained. So, $700 later it came back in 2 days. So, we were told he needed surgery to remove the capsule and that would fix it. Another $1000 later and now it is worse than before, it has swollen to 3 times the size it was. Also, they wanted to charge us $160.00 for antibiotics that were $30.00 at the pet pharmacy. BEWARE. If you care about your pet, do not take them there. The next morning, our dog had bloody diarrhea. This is likely from when they put the breathing tube down his throat. I wasn’t going to attach photos, but I will now that it’s getting even worse. The first picture is of how bad it looks now. The other picture of his elbow was before surgery. Apparently the pictures were too much. Additionally, we had to take him to another vet and pay $300 to get the suture that was improperly placed inside the incision that did not come out with the other sutures.
Mar 15, 2025 · Adam ThalerI gave 2 stars as the staff is very kind but paid over $600 for a wellness visit where there were multiple oversights and miscommunication.Took my two dogs in for their wellness check. I usually go to a different clinic but they only offer wellness visits and not sick visits.I brought my pup for a sick visit earlier in the year and they were very kind and informative. So I figured I would switch vets as they offered more services and are closer to where I live.Ensured to bring printed records from previous year from former vet clinic for both my pups to ensure they had all the information they might need. When they explained what all they recommend to be done and how much it cost I was taken aback but had a good experience before and decided they knew best. When checking out I noticed that my senior pup had gotten a second dose of a three year vaccine. I pointed it out to them and they assured me that he would be ok and when I mentioned I brought the records. The person helping me stated, "well they were confused on which one he got so they went ahead and gave the three year vaccine." I also mentioned that I made the investment last year for the 3 year vaccine to which the response was, "The good thing is that it's just $18". I asked if my other pup got the three year as well since she only got the 1 year vaccine the previous year and they said no.After about an hour and a half later my pup threw up 6 times and was itching uncontrollably. The clinic was already closed so decided to just give him benadryl and monitor him. Thankfully after a few hours all the symptoms subsided. My other dog that got the 1 yr vaccine was sore (would yaipe when I tried picking her up) but otherwise ok.Today I went to review the receipt to submit to their insurance and saw the they charged $28 for the vaccine and not the $18 stated.Disappointed with the situation and will be going back to their original vet even though it's 40 minutes away.
