Jul 08, 2025 · Ruth FloresExceptional Care for my Rescued KittensI have visited River Park Vet Hospital twice now, and each experience has been nothing short of exceptional. The staff at the hospital greeted me with professionalism, genuine concern, and attention to every detail.During my first visit, I brought in three very young rescued kittens, and the team at River Park Vet Hospital handled them with care and expertise. Yesterday, I returned with one of the kittens, who has grown bigger since our first visit. From the welcoming woman at the front desk to the knowledgeable tech who assessed my kitten, and finally to the compassionate doctor, every step of the process was perfect.I am grateful for the outstanding care my kittens received at River Park Vet Hospital. I highly recommend this hospital to anyone looking for a dedicated and caring team for their beloved pets. 🐱❤️
Jan 15, 2025 · Kimberlie MooreEdit update: the uti came back 10days after the last antibiotic from the vet. It came back 4 times. Vet took him off a prescribe crystal diet left no diet prescription after. I put him on urinary diet and He's 3 month & presently free of bleeding. vet kept asking about his diet many time so I figure he is in the ball park or knew something about that but left it at that. was more concern with scheduling him for a teeth cleaning. They will stabilize the symptoms 1st so it will be the same treatment each time before they can/will find a fix. I'm grateful they were available but I made the dietary choice that fixed my cat. And i change his antibiotics the final time to keflex.Original:My cat buddy came in for hematourea , frequency/ incontinence Christmas eve places where close. I monitored him closely & stayed up with him due to story of pet ER delaying care with poor diagnosis etc. They had same day opening I call. Just me and one other pet owner in the lobby. We got in & out within 1hr. They did xray, blood draw & an injection of antibiotic on 1st visit to fastly get the meds to therputic range which was the difference if i had treated him at home. and gave us antibiotics pill they had on site which Is convinent. We got urinalysis 2 week after (he peed 5 time while question was ask. He empty when they ready) my initial visit. urinalysis show no crystals which means we didn't need to start him on dietary food for Crystal, but we already did. Day 1 on antibiotics his bright red pee turn to clear with burgundy sediment and he was able to rest for more than 4 hour already peeing less often. Day 2 he peeing large volume like normal. When He was having the UTI meowing more communitivly sorta in agony when he ate or pee. Total cost is $550 I take that cus treatment was very effective. The last 2 pic was the day he was sick. The 1st 3 photo are his recovery photos
Jul 15, 2025 · Smart AutoMy cat had an appointment at my family vet for this upcoming Friday. He took a turn last night and needed to be seen sooner. RiverPark was able to get me in right away. The staff was understanding and really took great, thorough care of my boy, and for all the tests they ran and medicines they gave, the bill was less than I expected. They also take Care Credit which is a plus! When I picked my boy up, and seemed hella neurotic with all my questions about his care, they were patient with me and made sure that I felt confident that he had been in good hands and had been stabilized. To note, the vet seemed very busy, so he was pretty short and to the point (not rude, just seemed very busy, he may be the only one on staff), but the vet techs were willing to spend time, answer ALL of my questions, and they gave assurances that the vet had covered all the bases.I saw a review where someone mentioned that the vet spent little time...and yes, I experienced this too...but I would rather have him spend time caring for my animal than coddling me!The team as a whole, made me feel like my boy was important and cared for, and in good hands.I definitely recommend this vet clinic.9.75/10 (I'm biased to Dr Akhtar at Dog/Cat, so I deducted .25)-Wybie-UPDATE: Sadly, it is not good news for my boy. The staff is incredibly understanding and compassionate and advised me as if he was their own cat.We will be saying goodbye, tomorrow, and I'm sure they will continue to be caring, compassionate, patient, and kind with my family.
