★ 5★ 4★ 3★ 2★ 1We were referred to Urgent Petcare by our vet because it was a Saturday afternoon and our vet was about to close, we were surprised to learn they were so close by since we’re in the area often but didn't know about them. From the moment we walked in, every single staff member from the front desk to the doctor was incredible. They were quick, the office was clean and professional, and most importantly, they were knowledgeable and kind.Dr Carmen Perez was honest and empathetic, even when she had to deliver difficult news. It's never easy to hear that one of the most humane options is to say goodbye, but her honesty and compassion meant so much to us. Sadly, we did say goodbye to our sweet Mac shortly after, but we are grateful they did everything they could for him.We also used one of their referred in-home euthanasia services, All About Restful Pets, and they were amazing as well.Thank you to everyone at this clinic for your compassion, support, and care during such a difficult time. We will definitely keep them in mind if we ever need after hours emergency care for our other fur babies in the future.
July 26 · Dawn AnkromAlways a wonderful experience at this office, from parking to driving away. Quick triage, rarely a long wait for assessment, recommendations, treatments, and check out. Very grateful for your office, staff, and doctors who are receptive to cooperative effort in the best interests of pets and pocketbooks. Thank you! 😉🥰
July 14 · Kelly HuntI have a high energy English springer spaniel who had lumps surgically removed from his underbelly and armpit eight days ago. At 3 PM on Saturday afternoon, some blood discharged from the incision near his armpit. By 5 PM am unexpected lump appeared. We arrived a little bit after 7 PM at urgent care. The office and the floor is clean everywhere. From the time I made the initial phone call to see if they could take my dog to the moment we left, everyone was phenomenal. The staff this evening were warm, friendly, welcoming, efficient, lighthearted, and knowledgeable. Pricing was very reasonable for urgent care. In case of emergency, this is a great place. Thank you!
August 02 · OKI brought my 9 month old puppy in because he had been vomiting intermittently and I was concerned about a potential blockage. We were there about 3.5 hours, which is pretty typical for emergency visits, in my experience. Dr. Perez and the techs handled my dog with kindness and patience, returning him to me after taking him in the back for diagnostics, rather than leaving him in the back. I expressed concern about one of the medications that was to be used and the vet recommended an alternative that was acceptable. Documents and digital images were shared with me immediately and my usual vet was able to view them as well. If one of my dogs need urgent vet care in the future, this is where I will go.
March 29 · Alyssa Moon DykeMy dog swallowed a corn dog whole. Stick and all. I’m scared to death. Things are so different now. You use to be able to talk with the vet in person and go over what your options are. No, they send a vet tech out who says the vet recommends X-rays. Okay. But, the stick wasn’t visible. So she sends us home to hope for the best? I’m so angry! I spent $900 for NOTHING! She said call us if it passes. There’s no way it’s gonna pass. She said to come back for a ct scan if he bleeds, struggles to poop, won’t eat, pretty much when it’s just about killed him. Why wouldn’t they have given me the option for the ct scan in the beginning? I’m so scared now.
