★ 5★ 4★ 3★ 2★ 1I have two senior cats and a dog that all use VCA for their annual checkups and for any health concerns. I specifically use Dr Kinard as all my animals adore him and he is fantastic at what he does. Dr Kinard always goes above and beyond to help my pets by calling to check in, reaching out to other vets for a second opinion, and more. One thing I love that they do is they always let my cats out of the carrier to explore the room and get comfortable before exams (even if my cat gets nosey and tries to go through their cabinets), and do all vaccines in the room. The techs and receptionists are also all so friendly and welcoming. I never feel pressured to do extra or “unnecessary” testing/vaccinations, and the team always works with you to help figure out what is going to best benefit you and your pets. I can’t say enough great things about this place and am so grateful to have such an amazing team working on my pets’ health.
March 25 · GracieGreat first experience with Dr. Julie Delffs. Front desk staff and all employees were kind and welcoming. They all showed compassion and truly cared for my pet. Unfortunately, my dog passed after taking him to animal medical center (I strongly do not recommend) for an emergency. If I have another pet in the future, I will definitely be back to VCA. Thank you to all of the VCA team!
August 28 · W HGreat staff, dogs weren't nervous at all. Attention to detail was above usual. Knowledgeable staff and fair prices. Wagging tails out the door! Thank you@
July 26 · Linda SandersWe love VCA for regular vet visits. Their care plan is great & makes things more affordable. This week we also sadly had to use VCA for our very sick Bulldog. They were not only very compassionate but also knowledgeable. I am writing this now because we don’t know how our boy will be doing over the next few days but regardless VCA & Dr Julie DeLong have been amazing. I’m so grateful for them & the care they give their patients.
May 19 · Jenna PrinceWe have been a loyal client at VCA Creekside Animal Hospital for over 10 years, paying extra each month for their Wellness Package (2 package for my 2 puppies) with the understanding that this would ensure my dog would receive at least a drop off treatment and emergency care if anything were to happen. Sadly, our recent experience hav left us extremely frustrated and disheartened, to the point where we were compelled to leave this review and discontinue our relationship with the clinic. When our puppy fell ill, we decided to take her in to see if they could check her. We fully understood that the clinic was likely booked, but given that we have been paying for the Wellness Package, we believed at the very least we would be allowed to drop her off for a check-up. To our shock, when I arrived, I was told that there was absolutely no possibility of this happening. The staff at the front desk were completely unhelpful and cold, offering no empathy or understanding of the situation. The only response I received was "Nope, nope, nope" — no suggestions, no comfort. This is not the kind of service we expect, especially when we've been paying extra for years to ensure our dogs gets the care they needs. My husband then returned hours later, hoping for a different response, but unfortunately, he was met with the same rude and dismissive treatment. On top of that, we were informed that we would be charged $400 to cancel the Wellness Package we had been paying for each month. It was clear that the clinic had no interest in retaining us as clients or in providing any customer service.Up until this point, we had been very happy with Dr. Higgins and Dr. Kinard, and we continue to hold them in high regard. However, the appalling behavior from the front desk staff and lack of basic empathy for our situation has made it impossible for us to continue with this clinic. That same day, we found another veterinary clinic that, despite being fully booked, showed us and our puppy the warmth and care we had hoped for. They assured us they would accommodate her, and they provided her with the attention she needed, something I never thought I would have to seek elsewhere after paying for a Wellness Package at VCA Creekside Animal Hospital. Wellness Package includes free visits. What is the point for extra money (free visit) if you do not want to accommodate 1 sick dog for even a drop off??? Also, as an extra note, a month ago, they cancelled and moved twice our yearly appointment.Dr. Higgins and Dr. Kinard, we have always appreciated your expertise and care, and if you ever move to a different location, we will gladly follow you. Unfortunately, until then, we will no longer be returning to your clinic due to the incredibly poor experience with your staff and the total lack of customer care.If you're looking for a veterinary clinic where EMPATHY and RESPECT FOR CLIENTS ARE VALUED, go elsewhere. This is not a treatment for a loyal client of over 10 years with extra monthly payment for a better service.Adding 1 star because we have to, but deserve not even 1 star.
