VCA Northside Animal Hospital Reviews
Our dog Duce is extremely vocal and speaks his mind. I give it 5 star. Him, not so much 🤣. He thinks stepping on the scale is unbearable. He weighs 98lbs. The docs and the staff are patient, thorough and really give him a good look over. But it’s not his favorite place to go when he’s going for a ride in the car 😂
Apr 03, 2025 · donna roth jacksonWe've been going to Northside for the past year and from the front desk staff, to the techs, and Dr. Lehman we couldn't ask for a better experience. They truly love animals and treat them like they are their own. We moved back to the LV last year and one of our cats has some health issues. They are so helpful, informative, and supportive and conscious of costs. I am just forever grateful to them all. Shout out to Ashley, Raquel, and Dr. Lehman for always being kind. Love this office!
Jun 27, 2025 · Chrystal KnowlesThe staff was very helpful and the doctor was great. My kitten was really sick and instead of trying to get me to spend thousands of dollars for tests that would not have helped they took my kitten and put her to sleep for me. I was very emotional and they made it easier on me. They even gave me as much time as I needed to say goodbye to my baby girl. My girlfriend and I thank them very much.
May 06, 2025 · Jeff TigerI took my kitten Freydis to VCA Animal Hospital for the first time for a free exam and it was a very great experience. Such a good energy as soon as you walk into the door and are welcomed by the front desk. Very clean place, and even offer free drinks in the waiting room, which I didn’t have to sit in for long at all.The staff were incredibly kind, compassionate, and professional. They took the time to thoroughly explain everything and made sure I felt comfortable and informed throughout the process. They were very upfront and open about all of their pricing for any additional things that could be done for Freydis. The gentle care and attention they provided was top-notch and I was so grateful to have them by our side during a stressful time. Their expertise and dedication to their patients is truly impressive.I highly recommend VCA to anyone seeking veterinary care for their beloved pets.Special shout out to to Dr. Lehman and her technician, Allison. They were wonderful.
Jul 30, 2024 · Jessica DawnAll has been well in the previous year until today when on a 2nd follow up visit no urine sample was able to be given. I prepaid $290. And didn't know for sure what the cost of the analysis was. I asked for and expected a refund or credit since they did not provide that service and forced me to include it in the prepayment. They refused. I even suggested and agreed to take a monthly RX delivery plan to offset the balance due me at a higher price than available elsewhere. I was told by a very confrontative Raquel A., "no, " if I didn't like it " take it up with corporate. " When I asked to see the person in charge, I was told they were busy, but if I wanted to wait around I could. I had already waited for 25 minutes for my appointment to begin after I arrived on time. I became agitated with this treatment and disregard for typical policy and procedure and expressed it. I rejected the one month RX they had given me that they expected me to pay additional for and when I did, I was confronted by Raquel A, screamed at and escorted out of the building through the customer waiting room in a bizarre display of threats, confrontation and drama.Unbelievable!! BTW, contacting corporate is not responding and did not contact me. Stated they would assign it to someone in the field. The Pa. Attorney Generals office has agreed to investigate the case. Beware of their charging policies and don't prepay anything! Untrained and confrontative culture seems to prevail.
