VCA Southwick Animal Hospital Reviews
Today was my first time taking my two dogs to VCA Southwick. What an amazing experience. My dogs were so very well cared for. Dr Decker treated both my dogs (9yo and 14 week old ESS)with so much kindness. My older dog has always had chronic ear issues and for the first time I feel like we may actually solve the problem. I look forward to many years of partnering to keep my pups healthy and happy. Thank you to everyone at VCA Southwick Animal Hospital. I am so happy that I made the choice to take Louis and Lenny to VCA Southwick.
Apr 02, 2025 · kathy AllenGreat staff!! They always do a great job with my cat Felix.
May 15, 2025 · Martin MajKowskiLove the doctors here and they treat both my dogs very well. However, disgusted by Sabrina the receptionist and the attitude she displays while talking to people. Have had many off putting conversations. She is extremely unwelcoming and needs to learn manners.
Jun 13, 2024 · Danielle MickeyProtected name for my own safety.I give them a 2 stars, ONLY because they vets are nice. The two women in the front especially the chubbier one with brown/mixedcolored hair are horrific. I walked in to ASK A QUESTION, not for an appointment. She said “how can i help u” i stated “yes i have no appointment but” and before i could say “i HAVE A QUESTION” she cuts me off and stated “we don’t take walk ins” as she shoves the hospital list in my face saying “you don’t have all the hospitals” ….. yet she doesn’t know why im there, didn’t let me get more then 5 words out before shooing me away like trash and she’s too good to be asked a simple question, no where was it intended my animal had any issues, i wasn’t even allow to speak as i stated prior. As this happened it truly shows her care for animals and her priority is working as least as possible. While the other lady just sat in the corner desk staring allowing someone to be treated in that manner. I will be finding a new vet as my dog deserves THE BEST treatment and i as an owner should be allowed to ask a SIMPLE question for the amount of money anything costs in there.
May 28, 2024 · Billie BrownDr. Tison is absolutely an amazing doctor. She listens to her clients concerns, provides intelligent feedback, and answers questions thoroughly and completely. She has great bedside manner with her furry patients and shows compassion. She doesn't rush you through your appointments and makes you feel like your animal is a top priority. She puts the animals best interest first to provide great veterinary care. I had to put an almost 16 year old dog down and she listened to my apprehensions and concerns and gave me as much time with him during the process as I needed. I was a complete mess that day, and every staff member was nothing but gracious and compassionate. Dr. Tison also takes care of my other dog Schrimmpy and is gentle and kind towards him. She does follow-up phone calls when she says she will and informs you of anything concerning that shows up on blood work or lab tests. Her veterinarian assistant, (who embarrassingly I can't remember her name, but a young, blond female) is also very good with caring for my dog when we have appointments. While, sometimes the hospitals' costs are somewhat prohibitive, I think when you take in an animal you assume a responsibility to properly care for them and give them the best life and medical care possible and I feel like VCA Southwick hospital does that. From the receptionist, to the vet techs, to the amazing doctors I have never had a bad experience at this facility and trust them immeasurably to always administer the best possible care to my beloved pets.
