What is worth choosing
For pet owners in Indiana, VetCheck Pet Urgent Care Center in Fishers is a valuable resource that addresses a common and often stressful problem: what to do when your pet is sick or injured outside of regular business hours. This clinic fills a critical gap in the local veterinary landscape by providing prompt and professional care for non-critical emergencies. This is a significant advantage over waiting long hours at a 24-hour emergency hospital, which can be both costly and stressful. VetCheck's focus on urgent situations means they are equipped to handle a wide variety of immediate concerns, from minor injuries to surgical needs. The staff is committed to creating a calming and accommodating environment, as evidenced by positive feedback about their clean rooms and friendly team. The fact that the clinic is women-owned and openly LGBTQ+ friendly with gender-neutral restrooms also makes it a welcoming and inclusive space for all members of the community. However, it's important for potential clients to be prepared for the financial aspect of urgent care. As with any emergency or urgent medical service, costs can be higher than routine care. The clinic's stated commitment to discussing payment plans and providing transparent pricing is a key feature, as it helps pet owners make informed decisions in a high-stress situation. While some negative reviews highlight concerns about cost and communication in specific instances, many other clients appreciate the quick, life-saving care their pets received. VetCheck's role is to provide immediate relief and care, and they are well-equipped for this purpose, with their ability to perform urgent procedures like foreign body removal. For anyone in the Fishers area who finds their pet in a sudden, non-life-threatening health crisis, VetCheck Pet Urgent Care Center offers a professional, accessible, and timely solution that can provide much-needed peace of mind.

★ 5★ 4★ 3★ 2★ 1Had a wonderful, stress free experience! The rooms are quiet and clean. Our kitten was so calm he actually fell asleep! Staff is very accommodating and friendly. Our kitten and older cat haven't been established in our household yet and they were flexible enough to host them in separate exam rooms.Needed fecal testing. Around $207 without pet insurance for the combination of the exam and fecal test.
June 21 · Sarah LaudadioHad a completely horrifying experience here. I took my kitten in with an infected and scabbed over swollen paw. They cleaned the wound and charged $400 for some antibiotics and pain relief. Then, they went back to clean the wound some more and ripped the scab off, leaving a gaping gash on her paw. They said $700 for stitches. Moments later came back and said $1400.When I told them I wanted to bandage her up and take her to my regular vet they refused. Doctor got angry with me and said "do what you need to do" and slammed the door. She needed antibiotics. Now she needs stitches. The wound was completely scabbed over and healing when I took her in and now she will need stitches at only 6 weeks old. Before and after vet visit pictures attached. The AFTER photo is the bloody paw.UPDATE: my regular vet provider said this place is notorious for scamming people and “he is NOT a good doctor!” Please dont go here. This place should be shut down
May 20 · Elizabeth KerenyThey took good care of my kitty and were nice. A little pricey but it’s to be expected when you can schedule such short notice and late appointments, I was able to get my kitty checked and treated the same day I called.
June 29 · Andy HuynhCheerful and helpful staff. Took my girl, Pepper in for a completely torn off toenail. They took us right in with little to no waiting, got her clean and bandaged and provided pain and antibiotic meds for her recovery. ❤️🩹 Beats VCA for wait time and cost!
June 22 · Karina RhodeNae was amazing and helped me through the entire process with my kitten, Monkey. She was incredibly understanding of our budget and made sure we could prioritize the essential care my cat needed while also informing me of things to look out for and recommendations on food and care. Her kindness and support made a stressful situation much easier. I highly recommend VetCheck Pet Urgent Care Center, but keep in mind that it is an URGENT care clinic, and prices can be on the higher side.
