August 08 · mxoockxojessica nicholsI am sorry to admit that this review is long overdue...Over the years, having been in our fair town since 2006, my family has used the Hamilton Hills Animal Hospital for all our pets needs. Never have we been let down and always have been impressed by the genuine caring manner that Dr. Hastedt has attended to our pets. Many of our 4-legged friends needed to be administered for end of life circumstances. Each one was cared for in its own special manner.... each gently & calmly leaving us. One Flatcoated Retriever needed to be helped at home - which the good Doctor was able to do.Today I stopped in to ask advice, to make sure that I was doing the right things for my late wife's 3 cats. Dr. Hastedt was so generous with her time, coaching me on how to provide for them, help them settle in, as things have changed of recent. This visit was no cost....I sincerely hope the HHAH & Dr. Hastedt continue to have a successful business and will be there for Mommycat, Manny, and Tortie in the future. And I hope many new clients will be as satisfied as we have been.Thank you, as always, Dr. Hastedt!Joe ByrdNoblesville, IN
August 19 · Joseph ByrdI've been going here for over 5 years now, ever since I got my cat, Twiggy, in for her first round of vaccines after adopting her from the shelter. Twiggy seems to get minor illnesses pretty often in some form or another, and Dr. Hastedt always knows how to help her out. She's been an amazing vet for Twiggy, so much so that, I kid you not, Twiggy actually gets excited when Dr. Hastedt walks in the door. Any assistants who come in to check on Twiggy before the doc shows up are also very sweet and patient with her. (From the sound of it though, I might have been blessed with an unusually easygoing cat who loves meeting new people.) Regardless, I definitely recommend these guys, they've been great to us and even better to Twiggy.
November 10 · lotusbandicootGreat experience every time we come here. They never recommend unneeded things. They are always respectful of our feelings and opinions. They always are friendly and smiling and passionate about what they do. My kitten needed surgery and they ordered a smaller clamp that they need to preform it just for him. They always love to see him and I feel very comfortable leaving him in their care. It is great to know that I can trust and rely on them for great care for my current and future animals. They also take care of my parents two cats and their previous cat before she passed away. The picture shows my kitten Chip at his first vet visit and how comfortable he also is at the vets office.
April 11 · kristin moodyEdit: Make sure to get all of your animals test results. Ask questions about follow up appointments, what the medications/supplements are, and even your own research. I just spent a week in distress while my cat was admitted to an emergency vet for chronic kidney disease. They administered her plenty of what she needed. Had we caught this two months ago, we might’ve had more time to fix the problem before it became severe.Hamilton Hills took the best care of my 4 year old cat. They give accurate prescriptions and are extremely thorough. My cat waits patiently for the staff on the scale, which was shocking due to her past vet experiences. Dr. Hastedt is a highly educated Veterinarian that I would recommend to anyone who has pets!
