Vetco Total Care Animal Hospital Reviews
I take my dog and cat to see Dr. Kevin for health issues that they both have been going through as well as for wellness care. I have spent overall "thousands" of dollars for both their well-being. They are like my children so seeing them both taken care of means a lot to my husband and I regardless of our financial situations. With that being said, I highly recommend that you sign up for pet insurance as soon as you take in a new furbaby. I'm thankful that I took advantage of Petco Vital Premier as soon as I found out about it. They provide visits free of charge! Although diagnostic testings and medications are not covered and you pay out of pocket for them, that little help goes a long way. I am so, very thankful for it!Dr. Kevin, Linda and Cassandra are wonderful! Dr. Kevin is VERY knowledgeable and gentle to my furbabies. He's very empathetic and straight forward and I truly appreciate it. He answers all my questions and gives me references so that I can go home and research myself. Being an informed customer is so important.Prices provided are reasonable. I've compared diagnostic prices to other places that I've taken my furbabies and they are less or on par. PLUS, they give you price quotes prior, so, I know how much to prepare for! I love that!Thank you Dr. Kevin and the staff for your patience and fantastic job! And as a final tidbit to sign up for the vital premier plan if you're uninsured! Once again, we are truly grateful. 🙏Jinky and TinTin thanks you too! ❤️

From the moment we arrived, the process was smooth and stress-free. Linda was so kind and welcoming, making sure all our questions were answered and ensuring my cat was comfortable throughout the visit. Dr. Larson's compassion and expertise were evident, and I truly felt that my pet was in the best hands possible. Your genuine care and attentiveness made all the difference, and I am so grateful for everything you did. Thank you again for your outstanding service!
Jan 09, 2025 · Duha AlmusweHighly recommend!! Dr. Kevin is so knowledgeable and we’ve been going to him for years. He’s so good with our cat & dog. It’s a one stop shop - get the pets in for their exams, pick up food and a toy!
Apr 25, 2025 · Mandi VoteI'm sorry to say that this vet is deeply unprofessional. They let us pay for an entry exam, then refused to actually treat our pet, without giving any explanation and refusing to communicate about it afterwards. The details: I came in with my dog to treat a specific issue which required a procedure. There is always an entry exam, which is mandatory, and costs a little under 90 USD (I suppose this is normal in the US). Our dog was examined and I was promised a report afterwards (they forgot to send it so I had to call in to get it sent) and because they had missplaced some numbers on the report and said things on it that did not align with what my previous vet had said (we had moved recently) and also to figure out why my dog was being much more nervous (panting) when she came out from the back than I had seen except once before, I decided to call back in to ask some questions about the report, which the person at the front desk answered. I didn't complain at this point - just asked some specific questions trying to figure out the truth about the medical report and whether we should go through with a procedure we had scheduled a fair amount in advance.A few days later, I received an email saying something like: "We're sorry you're not happy with our services. We will no longer treat your pet."Do you find this to be acceptable? To do an entry exam, have the client pay for it, and then simply refuse to actually provide treatment, even after scheduling a procedure she needs and which must be scheduled a fair amount in advance? This is negligent at the very least.Edit: Apparently, they withheld treatment because of how badly my questions made the front desk person feel. To be clear, I may have been asking questions about the report but I would LOVE to have a recording of that conversation, because I spoke to the person at the front desk not as to someone who caused the problem but who could simply provide answers - never did I accuse the front desk personon, personally, of doing anything wrong. If you work in medicine - even if it's vet medicine - you should be able to handle situations like this without "punishing" a patient for "making you feel bad" when you're discussing the treatment of an ageing pet. That is incredibly immature and selfish behavior and does not belong in this line of work, when it is your literal job description to deal with people who have sick and ageing pets. When I called again I got to talk to the manager who finally did agree to reimburse us for the entry exam, at least. But this does not make up for the time we lost, the stress of learning to trust a new vet after being refused treatment, and the fact that a necessary procedure, which takes a while to schedule, has been postponed because of this clinic's approach.I am glad my dog will be treated elsewhere and that they revealed who they are before we did any real treatments with them but the whole experience has left me doubting people's maturity and humanity, and at the very least makes it seem as if this clinic cares more about people being “nice” to them (again, though, I was not being aggressive when asking questions about the medical report - people were with me when I made that call and they said it wad absurd to treat that as a problematic call) than the wellbeing of pets.
Apr 04, 2025 · Ema KatrovasWe've been seeing this crew - Dr Kevin, Linda, Cassandra and all the others for over 15 years - they're the BEST! Kind, compassionate, knowledgeable - ALL the things you need.
