Located conveniently in Denver, Vetco Vaccination Clinic provides accessible and cost-effective solutions for keeping your dogs and cats up-to-date on their immunizations and protected against common parasites. Vetco Vaccination Clinic operates with a clear mission: to make essential preventative pet care as convenient and affordable as possible for the Colorado community. Their model focuses on offering specific services like vaccinations and microchipping in a quick, efficient manner. This approach appeals to many pet owners who value time and budget while ensuring their pets receive necessary protection. While some feedback highlights areas for improvement in customer comfort or communication, the core promise of fast, easy, and reasonably priced vaccinations remains a significant draw. For Denver locals, understanding the specific scope of services offered here can help manage expectations and determine if it's the right fit for their pet's immediate needs, especially when those needs are centered on preventative health measures like immunizations.
The Vetco Vaccination Clinic is strategically located at 3705 E Colfax Ave #102, Denver, CO 80206, USA. This address places it within a well-known and often bustling part of Denver, making it a recognizable and relatively easy destination for many residents across the city. Being on East Colfax Avenue, a major arterial road, ensures good connectivity whether you are driving or using public transportation from various Denver neighborhoods. The clinic often operates within Petco stores, which can add an extra layer of convenience for pet owners who might combine their visit with shopping for pet supplies. Vetco Vaccination Clinic specializes in providing essential preventative veterinary services, primarily focusing on vaccinations and related health measures. Their service model is designed for efficiency and affordability, making it a popular choice for routine health maintenance for pets. It's important to note that while they cover critical preventative aspects, they typically do not offer the full range of diagnostic, surgical, or comprehensive medical care found at a traditional full-service veterinary hospital. Here’s a detailed look at the services generally offered:
- Core Vaccinations for Dogs: Includes Rabies, Distemper & Parvo (5-in-1), Bordetella (kennel cough), and Leptospirosis. These protect against common and often serious canine diseases.
- Core Vaccinations for Cats: Includes Rabies, Feline 3-in-1 (FVRCP - Feline Viral Rhinotracheitis, Calicivirus, Panleukopenia), and Feline Leukemia (FeLV) for at-risk cats.
- Microchipping: A vital service for permanent pet identification, significantly increasing the chances of reuniting lost pets with their owners.
- Heartworm Testing & Prevention: Offering tests to detect heartworm disease and providing various prescription heartworm prevention medications.
- Flea & Tick Prevention: Providing access to various prescription flea and tick prevention products.
- Intestinal Parasite Screening & Deworming: Conducting fecal tests to screen for intestinal parasites and offering deworming treatments.
- Basic Health Screenings: Often includes a vitals check and basic assessment by a state-licensed veterinarian or professional staff to determine appropriate vaccinations and tests.
- Wellness Packages: Vetco often offers bundled vaccination packages for puppies, kittens, adult dogs, and cats, which can provide cost savings compared to individual services.
Vetco Vaccination Clinic in Denver presents a mixed but generally focused set of features, appealing to pet owners seeking specific types of care:
- Speed and Efficiency: A primary highlight for many customers is the fast and easy process. Reviews consistently praise the quick check-in and check-out, making it ideal for busy pet owners who need vaccinations done without a lengthy visit.
- Affordable Pricing: The clinic is frequently noted for its reasonable and competitive prices, especially for vaccinations. This makes essential preventative care more accessible, particularly for those on a budget or who only require immunization services.
- Friendly Workers and Pet Interaction: Many reviewers highlight the super friendly and sweet demeanor of the workers, who often handle pets with kindness, even those with "big personalities." This positive interaction can make the vaccination process less stressful for animals and owners alike.
- Specific Service Focus: The clinic specializes in vaccinations, microchipping, and preventative medications (like heartworm, flea, and tick prevention). This focused approach ensures efficiency in these specific areas of care.
- Walk-in Availability (often): While appointments might be available, Vetco clinics are often structured to accommodate walk-ins, providing flexibility for pet owners.
- Potential for Varied Customer Experience: It is important to note that customer experiences can vary. While many appreciate the friendliness and efficiency, some feedback suggests instances where staff interactions were perceived as less welcoming or opinionated, and where pets might not have felt entirely comfortable. This highlights the importance of individual experiences.
- No Full-Service Exam Fees: A significant benefit is the absence of a comprehensive exam fee, which is common at full-service veterinary clinics. This contributes to the overall lower cost for vaccination-only visits.

Vetco Vaccination Clinic Reviews
Fast, easy, and the workers are super friendly and were sweet with my big personality dog. Great price too if you just need vaccines without a whole vet visit.
Jun 20, 2025 · Erica N. RogersDidn't feel welcomed and my dog was not comfortable around them due to that. They made a few comments that was opinionated. The only reason that rating isn't lower is because it was quick from actually being checked in to checking out as well as the price for vaccination was reasonable.
Nov 19, 2024 · Desire GilesDr Hawkins has been very kind and gentle with our two cats in both of their vaccinations appointments. I was surprised in the earliest visit that one of them “who usually gets very anxious at the vet” was calmer than normal and did quite well in that visit. Dr Hawkins took time to pet them and help ease their fear before giving them any vaccine. I can tell Dr Hawkins genuinely love animals and he has a nice team!
