Veterinary Dental Specialties Reviews
My working dog needed all four canines crowned, in addition to some extractions and root canals. We had seen multiple other dental specialists and had been turned away due to the severity of her issues.Dr. Fielder and her staff were absolutely amazing. They not only saved my dog’s teeth (and her career as a working dog) but were so kind and compassionate through the whole process.
Mar 21, 2025 · Morgann MarkoeI will never be able to thank Dr. Fielder and her team enough for the amazing care they have shown my dog Burrito. I truly believe that without her and her team my boy would not be here today. We noticed some weird bumps in Burrito's mouth and brought him in for a cleaning. Dr. Fielder ran diagnostics on him and found a rapidly growing form of cancer. She consulted specialists and worked with us to make sure Burrito was well cared for. Thanks to her fastidious nature, Burrito's cancer was removed, and his follow-up screenings showed he was cancer-free!!! Her team was so kind and loving and worked with us as we navigated multiple surgeries. I wish every vet was as dedicated to their patients. Thank you Dr. Fielder - you are truly the best!
May 29, 2025 · Fran DarlingNot enough stars for the team at veterinary dental specialties, sent them a picture from three hundred miles away and heard back immediately, be here for consult at 3:30 be prepared to stay overnight for surgery the next day. Excellent service., did not suger coat anything, just no nonsense medical exam and consult resulting in next day surgical treatment. Was told in seattle area could not be seen for months, true story. My opinion they went above and beyond. This is what medical practice should be about, compassion and they showed it. Thank you
Jul 19, 2025 · Jeffery CrawfordI can't say enough great thing about my experience with Dr. Fielder, the staff, and environment of Veterinary Dental Specialties. My dog, Duke, needed extensive oral surgery, and the level of care he received was outstanding. From the moment we arrived, the environment was quiet, clean, and calming which helped put both of us at ease. This is intentional on their part - they schedule clients to focus on your pet.The team was incredibly focused on Duke, making sure he was comfortable and well cared for throughout the entire process. Their communication was the best I've ever had with a veterinary team - they kept me informed and answered all of my questions. Most importantly, Duke was not scared to be with them, which speaks volumes about their compassionate approach. His healing process has been smooth, and I'm beyond grateful for their expertise. I highly recommend them to anyone in need of dental care for their pets.
Feb 04, 2025 · Michelle BraaschMy husband and I had our German Shepherd, Leila, treated at this clinic for broken teeth and root canals, and I can't express how impressed and thankful we are with Dr. Fielder and her team. Not only was their bedside manner towards our anxious dog top notch, their office policy of operating on one animal at a time in the surgery room (with exception to emergencies) ensured that Leila received 100% of their attention and focus. As a CareCredit card holder, their recent integration made payment simple and worry free as well.I was also particularly impressed with their imaging technology, which helped to identify any and all underlying problems during Leila's visit. Through this, they were able to discover Leila had not one but two abscessed teeth. There is a designated space at the clinic in the back where my husband and I were able to work remotely during Leila's procedures, and they took care to ensure that Leila was as comfortable as possible and worked together with my husband and I as Leila was going in and out of sedation.Like most veterinary work, these procedures were pricey as can be expected, but the team worked with my husband and I to educate us on the breakdown of each line item before we committed to any cost and we were provided best and worst case scenario based on our choices. The team is also diligently working with me and my insurance provider to complete a claim.Throughout Leila's colorful medical past, we have met a lot of great people and teams that I will always be grateful to have met, but Dr. Fielder, Katie, and Bea stand out to us as the best and smoothest experience we have ever had in ensuring a happy and long life for our beloved dog.Two root canals later and a cool as heck metal crown, Leila is noticeably happier and more comfortable, and she can finally go back to leading a painless and worry free life like all dogs deserve. It is clear that the team at Veterinary Dental Specialties care a great deal for animals and as pet owners we cannot thank them enough for their professionalism and heart during our two visits. I will gladly be visiting them again for routine care.
