Veterinary Neurological Center Reviews
I'll tell you first hand that going to a neurologist with your beloved pet is never a lovely experience to start with. It's so emotional, scary and just plain rotten to be going thru. This clinic so far (only one visit, going for follow up appt soon) is great. We had a small issue come up and they handled it well and just made sure I was comfortable with the care & treatment of my Frenchie. He's not even 6½ and unfortunately this is his second neurological incident and MRI. The team was so so nice. Front office staff has been following up on how he's doing. My resident neurologist also followed up personally to see how he was doing. I def feel that they genuinely care. This place is over 2hrs away from me and was worth the drive. They're the closest animal neurologist to me since moving to AZ in May. I was really hoping moving away from our other neurologist wouldn't be a big deal... was hoping my pup wouldn't need one again. I'm hoping that my second visit goes well and that I don't need to adjust my 5 star rating. This place has been a class act. Even got a hug from the doctor since I was a sappy mess with all of the information and procedures that were required.
Mar 09, 2025 · Tessa HewittI had a really great experience with this practice. It was a stressful process initially coming to Vet Neuro Center for an MRI due to IVDD pain for my cavalier. She ended up needing surgery after reviewing the MRI due to long-standing and acute injury to her disc. Our vet, Dr Lovato -- was so caring and explained everything wonderfully. Due to schedules, I had to end up scheduling with Locum Neurologist Dr Greatting since Dr Lovato was on vacation the week we needed to have the surgery. I was so nervous about my dog's surgery but both doctors walked me through everything and were very communicative throughout the process.Everyone at the front desk is also so kind, pleasant, and helpful. They also helped work with my insurance company Trupanion to get pre-approval for everything. My dog LOVED coming here to see all the friendly techs. Two weeks post op and my dog is recovering nicely. This was definitely one of the best vet clinic experiences I've ever had.
May 20, 2025 · Taressa CoreThis place saved my dog's life!!My dog has received wonderful care at VNC! Dr. Parker is who we usually sees and he is so knowledgable and kind. My dog could barely walk and was diagnosed with meningitis when we first visited. He's now well on his way to a full recovery thanks to the doctors and techs here. The customer service is also amazing. Anytime I call with a question or concern I always get a quick response.Thank you so much VNC!
Feb 19, 2025 · Rin EadsDr Knowles was thorough and cost aware as my fur baby is almost 11 years old. She was compassionate and I would highly recommend to anyone who needs a neuro consult on your pet.
May 14, 2025 · Amber WachtmannDr Knowles and the entire staff have been wonderful to Lolli and ourselves. They treated her for a neck/spinal cord injury for over 10 years. The treatment went beyond just regular office visits. Their communication with Lolli’s regular vet was outstanding. She was not expected to live past seven or eight but instead lived to be almost 13 years old because of their care and concern. We appreciate everything they did right up till the end to make her life full of joy and happiness. She added so many blessings to our lives. We would highly recommend them to care for any pet that has special needs beyond what an ordinary vet might be able to treat.
