Tempe Veterinary Hospital Reviews
I've been going here for about a year (after I learned the hard way how important it is to have a 2nd opinion on the health of a loved one). I can't overstate how important it is to have a resource like this in my community. I genuinely think there should be municipal funding for places like this.Rick Wells DVM really knows and has great rapport with animals. His staff are amazing and their facility is ginormous. There's a big dog yard in the back, there's a dog vs. cat waiting area (separated by fascinating fish tanks and a beautiful bird named Bozo).I'm really grateful in particular for our relationship with Rick as Ruby's vet before we got into a terrible accident involving the very large teeth of a neighbor's troubled dog. I drove Ruby to Doctor Wells immediately and they were able to rule out a lung puncture and internal bleeding by taking a series of X-rays over the span of the morning and afternoon. We got her stitched up and home the same day.Ruby is now walking and eating good. I'm so grateful for the excellent care and service of Rick Wells DVM and his team!
Jun 08, 2025 · Stephanie BrooksI took my cat to them. They kept him for observation and to run tests for a week. Then I ‘m told that they can’t do anything for him. He will live in pain and it’s best to put him down. They charge too much. Plus I found out that someone else’s cat had the same problem and had surgery. I wish I would’ve taken my cat to another hospital for a second opinion. I would have still had my cat. I miss him so much,
