DO NOT TAKE YOUR DOG HERE – WASTE OF TIME AND MONEYCHARGED ME FOR BATH AND BRUSH AND DID NOT EVEN BRUSH MY DOG…ectI dropped my dog off at 3 PM for a 3:15 grooming appointment. Over 3 hours passed with no update, so I called—no answer. I eventually returned to the store and asked for an update, only to be told my dog had just been washed and was under a vent to dry because he “didn’t do well with the blow dryer.” That was surprising—my dog has been groomed regularly for five years and has never had an issue with a blow dryer.By this point, it was 6 PM and they hadn’t even started cutting his hair. I didn’t want to wait all evening, so I told them I was taking my dog home. I was handed a $49 bill for a "bath and brush"—services that were either done poorly or not at all. After expressing my concerns, they offered a 10% discount. Before I left, the groomer said I could bring him back the next day and she’d “try to make room” to groom him. I declined. But when I came back to pick him up, the groomer had already started cutting his hair—something I explicitly said I didn’t want. She said, “I won’t charge you for it.” I should hope not.Worse, I don’t believe he was even offered water during those 3+ hours. He drank an entire bowl as soon as I got him. His "groom" was a 5-minute uneven trim with no brushing—yet I was still charged $49 for a bath and brush. He's shedding worse now than when I brought him in.Save yourself the frustration and find a groomer who values your time, money, and your pet’s well-being. This place clearly does not.
Jun 30, 2025 · Leslie GreyBig store with plenty of stuff for pets. I have 2 cats so I love the cat section. I really appreciate how they have pre built cat trees that you can just pick out and take with you without having to personally assemble them. Reasonable pricing as well.
Feb 27, 2025 · Keysha WilliamsWe’ve been having our Lhasa groomed here for two years. The former groomer, Ashley, was great! However, we will no longer use groomer, EJ. During her groom this week, she was very rough with our small dog and scraped her private area using the clippers, yes, my spouse was watching through the window while this was happening. Now, several days later, her privates are swollen still, causing our dog pain/discomfort.
Jun 29, 2025 · Roberta Mick-BrownThe vast array of things for pets is good. The prices are reasonable. The three stars are for two less than stellar visits. The first was an order that I placed on the app. The order itself was correct. My issue is that they don't pay any attention to curbside pickup notifications. The option for curbside pickup is available through the app. You can choose to let them know that you are on your way and then you check in after arrival. I waited for 30 minutes because they did have a steady flow of customers. The app kept telling me that they were aware of my pickup. The second issue is when I wanted to check the balance of a Petco e-gift card. I first tried to go through the line because there wasn't anyone in it. The cashier was completely baffled and told me there was no way to check the balance of an e-gift card. By this time, several people are waiting to check out. I told her that I would wait and let her get everyone taken care of. After a few minutes, the line was cleared and I went up to her register again. She called another employee over and he also told me that they couldn't get a balance on my e-gift card and that I would have to call customer service. I was annoyed because it clearly says "check your e-gift card balance in store or online". By now, there were more people gathering to pay so I left and went and sat in my car to try and figure this out. There is a customer service chat feature in the app and she quickly helped me find the balance. I then decided that I would place an oder for the item that I needed because I didn't want to confuse anyone again with the e-gift card. I immediately went in, got my item, and approached the cashier and explained what I was doing and she checked a phone/zebra and said that yes, my order was there and she could see that I had paid, so, she said that was all that needed to be done. Unfortunately, they did not mark my order as picked up because I get an email saying that my order had been canceled. The employee are courteous and somewhat helpful but they might need some training or re-training. 🐶
Apr 11, 2025 · Kelli MatzI took my dog in to get groomed and the groomer was rolling her eyes and overall very rude from start to finish. We were the first ones there in the morning, so it wasn’t busy at all. She suggested a much more expensive haircut for my dog, but couldn’t tell me how much hair would be taken off. She was very condescending, so i ended up leaving. It was a horrible experience at this specific location. I’ve never had a problem at any other Petco, so if you want grooming maybe just go to a different one
