Jun 27, 2025 · Bibi SamadI would give ten stars if I could. Selection is good and prices are better. Their point system is great. After only one year I got a $70.00 bag of dog food for FREE. That says a lot. The people working there are always nice & available. Says a lot about a business in a world full of bad businesses. Receiving these coupons in the mail helps a lot too. My dog, Bruiser, and I appreciate your business.
Nov 24, 2024 · Steven CalozziThey treat their animals HORRIBLY. I’ve gone there a few time over the years for a while. When I was very young, I got a hamster from there, I thought it died in a week due to an infection. Turns out it died in a few days, my mom ran back to get his brother that looked exactly the same, and it died within the same week.Later on, I went there with friends and picked up a guinea pig. They’re supposed to be extremely skittish and try to run away from you. One of them didn’t, and when I picked it up? It had a lot of green gunk in the corner of its eyes, and it barely looked alive. I told a worker and he seemed surprised and unsure of what to do.Not even mentioning how they treat their dogs and cats there. It’s awful and makes me so sad
Jun 27, 2025 · Abby CherryThis is one of the better chain pet stores. Most of the employees are very knowledgeable and ready to help and answer any questions. Their prices are reasonable, and they are pretty well stocked with a wide assortment of products.
Mar 25, 2025 · Vince CoppolaWas waiting with a kitten for over an hour and a half wanting to adopt. Was told the printer wasn’t working, an employee was bit by a bird, and a lot was going on behind the scenes. The store was empty, many times no other customers for long periods. Had to ask for a manager in order to get paperwork moving. Clearly they don’t prioritize adoptions, will not be returning. The whole time I had the cat out he was gassy and uncomfortable, clearly needed the bathroom but nobody would take him back to the litter box. Once he got home he quite literally had explosive diarrhea and was covered in his own feces needing constant help to be cleaned. No clue how he held it that whole time. (3 hours from when he was taken out).Update, after one ER visit, and a vet appointment we find out the cat has coccidia, needed X-rays for a previously broken leg, messed up growth plates, and has been sneezing with bloody diarrhea and a distended stomach. His paperwork said he had “no sufficient findings” and was healthy. I know I should have expected this when adopting from here however why claim the animal is healthy and has been seen by a vet when clearly he can’t gain weight, his bones are protruding and something is wrong. Didn’t need to be a vet to see this kitten needed help. I love him so much and will do everything to give him a long pain free life. Obviously I knew to expect he wasn’t in good health given his condition when I saw him. However, I didn’t expect the conditions these animals are held in to be this egregious to the point I need to be concerned about disease being spread to my adult cat. Shame on this place for not helping their animals who are clearly suffering and knowingly spreading disease. Simply put this business is unethical and borderline neglectful/abusive.I will say once I got a manager she was very kind and helpful and was out in less than a half hour once she got involved. She let me know it was unacceptable the excuses the employees were giving. It would not have changed my decision in adoption however it would have been nice to know the cat was found in tornado wreckage so I could be expecting some hefty vet bills and potential surgeries incoming. Didn’t learn this till the next day reading through the details of his health history that were only given to me after I signed all the paperwork for him. This place does a great job at failing the animals during their stay at pets plus. Only adopt if you can swing some nice unroutine vet bills. The 300 something adoption fee is nothing compared to the care this cat needs.Same quality every pets plus location.
