All About Cats Veterinary Hospital Reviews
Excellent place to take your beloved fur baby. This entire staff truly cares about the well-being of your pet and you. I was dealing with a blockage in the urinary tract of my male kitty. He got so sick He couldn't walk and I had to choose between putting him down or doing a catheter. They were very upfront about the risks and cost and overall long-term effects of this feline cystitis that he was diagnosed with. Even with that we went ahead and did the catheter and we had various difficulties after that but every time that I needed help they would answer the phone they would call back and they would allow me to take my kitty in for them to make sure that he was okay. This process lasted several weeks and they were very attentive and willing to help. Even in tough times when I thought I was going to put him down the staff was kind, and attentive and even offered me a hug, offered me to talk and overall told me that it was up to me to do what I needed to do. Extremely supportive. They never pushed any service on me they were always very clear on the services that they would suggest and what was absolutely necessary and what was just optional but would like to do.I almost had to put my kitty down and the one day I took to think about it and decompress his bladder because I didn't want to pay for the catheter again since this might indicate that he might need a PU surgery which is even more expensive. When I first took the cat it was critical to make a choice, the second time he got blocked it wasn't as critical and with medicine and care my kitty survived and I have this clinic to thank for it.I am very aware of the life my cat will have after all of this and I'd like to encourage any cat parents out there to insure their little guys (something I decided to look into, the clinic never even pushed this on me) and to not take lightly when your kitty cats are vomiting excessively or peeing outside of the litter box because it took me several weeks to find out that my little boy had this issue and I have two cats so it was hard to tell which one was having the issue until one of them stopped eating and then in less than 24 hours he was on his death bedI wanted to give them this review because a lot of people have misconceptions of veterinary places and doctors in general just medicine it can get tricky it can get expensive and sometimes it can be hard to make choices and it can be hard to find someone you trustAnyways I love this clinic and they definitely are all about cats ❤️Shout-out to Claire vet tech, Dr Heather and Brittany from the front desk. They truly made this experience a lot easier to deal with ❤️
May 05, 2025 · Amairany PerezThis morning, my cat, Reese, suffered a complete urinary blockage. From the second I called All About Cats, they understood the emergent nature of the problem (unlike another vet's office who said, "What day would you like to bring him in?") Carolyn and Brittany at the front desk were amazing and Dr Stewart stepped in to save my boy's life. (Shout out, also, to Madi at the desk and Dr Groghan, whom I usually see with my kids, even though they weren't there today.) Excellent staff and very knowledgeable doctors. Blessed to have found them. Highly recommend

Jul 18, 2023 · Vamp TepesWords can not describe how wonderfully caring & compassionate all the staff here at All About Cats Veterinary Hospital are. From the receptionists to the veterinarians & everyone in between. They helped me get through one of the most difficult times I've ever had to face. My dad passed away in August 2022. His cat, Oreo, meant the world to him. So needless to say, with him gone, she had become to mean the world to me. She was only 14 years young when her health began to decline rapidly, almost 2 years after my dad's passing. I took her to the only place my dad ever trusted to bring his baby girl to: All About Cats. They discovered she had multiple large cancerous tumors in her stomach and intestines, & would not survive much longer. It was devastating to hear such news, but Dr. Jody was so caring & unbelievably compassionate, & said things which actually helped make the choice I was faced with, so much clearer. What was Oreo's quality of life in that current state? Not good. Was she very mobile? No. Was she in pain? Most definitely. What would my dad have wanted for Oreo? For her to never have to suffer as he did at the very end with his pancreatic cancer. I never had to put a cat down before. I couldn't believe how hard it was to give the word & walk out of there with an empty carrier. I'm crying right now just typing those words. Losing her was like losing a piece of him all over again. My cat, Nina, has also been taking it harder than I ever thought she would. She walks around the house every night yowling, crying, & looking for Oreo. It's heartbreaking that I can't console her or help her to understand. But if ever you find yourself in any situation where you need a kitty vet that you can trust & count on, you will never find a place better than All About Cats. They didn't even charge me to put her down. In disbelief, I asked: "How come?" & Dr. Jody replied: "Because the woman who started All About Cats many years ago believed that no one should ever profit off of something like that." & so they've stuck by that belief all these years later. & that speaks volumes. **Side note: Today, I received a beautiful & thoughtful card in the mail from the doctor's & staff at All About Cats. I cried when I read it, & then immediately sat down to write this review. Thank you to EVERYONE at All About Cats. & a special thanks to Dr. Jody, whom I will forever appreciate & have the utmost respect for. ♡♡♡♡♡ B.B.
May 02, 2024 · Beth BrackenI wish I could give more than 5 stars! After another clinic just throwing tons of you-know-what on the walls, hoping something would stick, my cat got sicker, and sicker. Fast forward to me rushing her to All About Cats, and within 1 day, they had her feeling so much better! They came up with an actual plan, and we're working through that, with them. Also, when I came in, with my cat, I was in tears, really freaking out over blood, pouring from her nose. It was so scary, but from the first phone call, to the minute I walked through the doors, to the vet tech letting me know she was stable, watching the doctor gently examine her (my little girl never seemed scared or hurt or stressed), to the instructions on her medication, explanation of the proposed plan, anticipated costs..., they were just SO wonderful, kind, comforting, understanding.... I am so happy I brought my fur baby to them, and I recommend them so highly!
