★ 5★ 4★ 3★ 2★ 1We love this animal hospital! We have taken all of our doggies here over the years and have never felt rushed, or set aside. They explain everything to you. Every Vet I have seen was very nice, professional and thorough. Micah at the front desk is a gem! Very friendly and sweet. We also had a wonderful Vet Tech, but I cannot recall his name, so sorry! My pups are resting comfortably after their visit on Saturday. We as their fur parents are too.
July 14 · Allison MorrisseyWe had to take our golden retriever in because she wasn’t acting like herself. We found out within the first 10 minutes of bringing her in that she had a tumor on her heart that ruptured and we needed to put her to sleep. This isn’t at all what we were expecting and it was absolutely devastating. The only positive was the treatment we received from everyone at the ER. The tech was leaving for the day and he stopped by on his way out the door to give our sweet girl some love. That was the first time her tail had wagged all day. The doctor was informative about what was going on and very understanding with our needing time to process everything. We are so grateful for the care we received and would like to thank everyone that was on shift during our visit. We are very grateful to everyone for the support we received and the love for our dog that we felt during such a difficult time. We also decided we wanted to have her euthanized at our home surrounded by our kids and other fur baby. Instead of pushing us to do it there, they gave us several names and numbers of people that could come to our home. In today’s world where every company seems to just want to make a quick buck, this meant A LOT. They truly put our pup and our needs first. Top notch service!
June 12 · Chad GaleAnimal Emergency & Specialty Center in Parker was amazing! The whole team was patient, caring and supportive. Brittany in particular went above and beyond to help get our dog the life saving care she needed. The clinic was clean and accommodating and everyone was friendly and compassionate. The vets were knowledgeable and helped to save our dog’s life! They were our heroes! Even with a busy waiting room, the team was kind and efficient in meeting and prioritizing everyone’s needs in a timely manner. Thank you to all the staff! We are grateful we took our dog here for her emergency surgery! In just a few days she was already back to her normal happy self!
August 02 · Kortnie FrancisHow does one begin to write a review that justifies how grateful you are to have a happy and healthy pup after experiencing a scary situation?! We were referred to Dr Lori after a cancer diagnosis with our senior Golden Retriever. From the moment we walked into the clinic, we were met with warmth, compassion, and professionalism from every single member of the team—from the front desk to the surgical staff. Facing a cancer diagnosis for our beloved dog was one of the most emotional and difficult experiences, but this team made all the difference. The front desk staff were not only efficient and organized but also incredibly kind and empathetic. Every phone call and visit began with a reassuring tone that instantly put us at ease. They never treated us like just another appointment—they treated us like family. The oncologist, Dr Lori, was thorough, compassionate, and clear in explaining every step of the diagnosis and treatment plan. We always felt informed and supported. Their calm demeanor and evident expertise gave us the confidence to move forward with surgery, knowing our dog was in the best possible hands. The surgical team led by Dr McDevitt was nothing short of amazing. They were attentive to every detail, especially with our dogs age and breathing difficulties, they treated our dog with the care and respect he deserved. The procedure went smoothly, and the follow-up care has been phenomenal. Their communication was prompt and thoughtful, and they made sure we never felt alone in this process. We are forever grateful to this incredible team for the exceptional care they provided—not just medically, but emotionally as well. Thank you for treating our dog like one of your own and helping us navigate this journey with so much compassion and professionalism.
July 31 · Michelle FordhamThere is two parts to this post.I want to bring attention to the situation we had over a week or so ago. My family and I were gone and 4 hours away from Parker when we had an emergency with two of our animals. Thankfully I was able to call Alina K and she took over for our pet sitter and got both animals to AESC for help.My 1 year 2 month old dog attacked our senior resident dog who is also basically on hospice care do to age and breed. We made the tough decision. To do behavioral euthanasia on our younger dog as the is attack was not the first nor would it be the last that he would do this. (Domino was on one side of our couch that takes up the whole room and Riggs my older dog was getting on when domino attacked no food or toys were present ) the attack went on for over twenty minutes while the pet sitter did everything they could to get domino to stop. Domino also had an enlarged heart that would eventually take his life. When domino got there they met with medical team Dr. Anderson techs Ashton and Gabbie who were nothing but kinda and caring in this situation. Beth Chitel the CSR on the other hand took it on herself without my husbands permission to call around and find someone to take domino off our hands. Mind you I myself am in vet med have done training and had him in training as well he was under medical care for his heart. So I knew what was best for Domino and our family. We did not give her permission let alone she did not call to ask if this was something we were willing to do.After all said and done Domino did pass surrounded by family (Alina) and the amazing love of the medical staff.Second part. Riggs was brought in for care. They were amazing gave him methadone to help with pain and they did a clip and clean medicated and sent him home with pain meds and antibiotics. I am very grateful for the medical staff that took quick action and took care of Riggs as well as Domino. If management would like to discuss this incident and have me remove the post I am very open to discussing this to help them in making sure their clientele is receiving the best care they can give.
