★ 5★ 4★ 3★ 2★ 1My sweet boy has a rare condition called iris melanosis, or freckling of the eye. It’s something that if it grows, it can indicate cancer and the only way to know is to remove the eye and biopsy it. I could not imagine removing a visual, non-painful eye and finding out it wasn’t cancerous, so I looked for other options and did my own research. Many other vets told me removal of the eye was the only way to prevent any cancer that may be there from spreading. The multiple 2+ hour drives to Animal Eye Clinic for check ups have been worth it because the staff is knowledgeable in the latest research and was able to conduct a laser surgery to reduce the chance of any cancer from spreading. Now, his eye pigment is no longer progressing although he does have a more dilated pupil and squints in bright light. I appreciate Dr. Davis’ honesty in that she hasn’t seen this symptom last long after these laser surgeries before. Despite this, he’s living his best life and still enjoys sunbathing. Dr. Davis and her staff at the very least has given him more years with both eyes than other vets wanted to. We will continue to monitor and pray we never have to remove it. We really appreciate everyone at Animal Eye Clinic and highly recommend their services!
July 12 · Hailey NorthcuttEveryone at the clinic was warm, welcoming, and showed my baby girl so much kindness and attention. Dr. Davis is unbelievably smart and talented, so well educated, I would highly recommend her services. She knew right away what was going on with my pups eyelids based on our story and photos, no biopsy needed. After months of trial and error and being misdiagnosed elsewhere, I left so happy I could cry. Effie says 10/10 would recommend !
June 24 · Stephanie ChakonasWe couldn't be more thrilled with Dr. Davis and her team. They have taken the best care of our dog, Lucy. I will never hesitate to take our dog to them for eye issues and will refer anyone that needs a good Ophthalmologist for their pet. Very professional, friendly and always answers all of our questions.
July 11 · Sue MitchellTook my Aunt and her fur baby to get evaluation and it was a wonderful experience. The clinic was luxurious and a great environment for parents and fur babies. When checking in she was so polite and friendly explained and showed us the accomodations. She had a great doctor who explained everything was so kind and compassionate and yes she's going to have her eye surgery the pricing was way way less than what I estimatedWe were so pleased and relieved she can be serviced. I give them a 💯
