★ 5★ 4★ 3★ 2★ 1Loved the experience my pup and I had here! I needed to get her in the same day, but unfortunately the other banfield location I was scheduled at had an emergency and couldn't see me. They worked with the Carmel location and managed to find a spot for me a little later in the day. The front desk associate was super polite and the vet and her tech were amazing. Very knowledgeable, very helpful. Answered all my questions and seemed invested in my dog's health. They seemed to genuinely enjoy her, not just treating her like a job to get through. Very thankful they got me in so quickly too. A little pricey, but the extra attentiveness to making sure we were taken care of felt worth it to me.
February 24 · Cara MicheleFollow-Up to my husband's review.Recap - On Monday, December 10th we had an appointment for in-room at 3:30 to see Dr. Radney. They called and we brought our dog in for drop off at 9:00 instead. Our dog was a little lethargic and not eating. Since we didn't get a call about moving forward until after 1:00 pm, I'm assuming my sick dog just sat in a cage without being looked at. When we did get to come and pick him up, we were advised he had a torn ACL and an ear infection that was already almost healed. Bare in mind they did NO bloodwork for our dog and anyone who knows Banfield knows they always do bloodwork (that's usually not covered in the Optimum Wellness Plan). I got the prescribed medicine (which they hadn't given anything to my dog the whole time he was there and sick) and with the reassurance that our dog was doing good and would be much better by Wednesday, we headed home. When we got home we gave our dog some food and his pill. He proceeded to lay down on the couch and only moved to go to the bathroom and then to the bed at night. He proceeded to throw up three times overnight. The last time it came out both ends and then he went limp. His tongue was hanging out and he was struggling to breath. We rushed him to MedVet (which I highly recommend) and was pronounced dead after they tried CPR. The were unable to tell us what had happened. He went from being okay with a torn ACL to dead overnight. Try getting all his dying imaged out of your head. My husband can't.After my husband's review we got a call from Christopher Hall. He did the usual platitudes. He asked if we did an autopsy and that if we had they would pay for it. Bare that in mind if your pet mysteriously dies after your visit. All he really offered in response was to cancel our wellness plan for JT. This would in no way help the healing process my family is struggling with due to the sudden death of our dog, but considering the neglect of proper care, it's the least they could do. He also said that he was going to talk with Morgan about canceling our other 2 wellness plans since I advised him I wouldn't be bringing my pets back to Banfield. (Side Note...I only opened one of those plans to afford to find out -- by Banfield -- my cat had to be put to sleep and this was less than 2 weeks prior to the death of my dog). I know all Banfield vets are different, but if they are hiring vets who leave sick pets in cages for hours without properly diagnosing them and they die with no just cause, I'd rather take my pets to a real vet clinic. Now, why am I writing this follow-up review. Christopher Hall has ghosted us. He advised us last week that he would be talking to Morgan and getting back to us. I sent an email checking in with him on Sunday and there has still been no word from him or even a cancelation of the plan that WAS promised. After what was done to our dog, you think we would be warranted a response at the least. Basically, I just wanted to show the lack of sympathy and professionalism this Banfield displays.
December 11 · Jonathan MaloneDr. Radney is great. I have been going to Banfield hospital for my pet for over 7 years now and recently changed to the location where the Dr. Radney is available and have always got the right advice and great care. Thank You Dr. Radney.
July 09 · Saikrishna ArcotThis is the best veterinary clinic I have ever been to. Yes the staff is very knowledgeable and friendly but Dr Radney is OUTSTANDING! She takes her time to explain and research any concerns or questions I might have! She is very conscientious and understanding of all of my dogs needs and takes her time to make sure I understand! What a great way to make a difference in this world! One beautiful pet at a time- they can’t speak for themselves but she does! Thank you Dr Radney!
January 18 · Kelly RivestI brought my dog in because he wasn't feeling the best and not eating. After leaving him caged for 4 hours during drop off, we were advised that he had a torn ACL and an ear infection that was healing and going away. We were told with the medicine they gave us he would be feeling better by Wednesday (this was on Monday afternoon). Fifteen hours later my dog died in my arms. Can't say I'd recommend Dr. Radney for future care of my pets.
