★ 5★ 4★ 3★ 2★ 1I found Animal Health Center 6 years ago when my cat had an emergency. They had me come in straight away and I knew then that this was the place for us. Although to had to say goodbye to my best friend today after 15 long years, I strongly recommend this as your vet of choice. The staff is always friendly, and beyond compassionate. The doctor takes his time to explain things for the now and future. When the time is right for me to have another pet I won't hesitate to come here again. Thank you for being such caring people.
May 29 · Ken HOur regular vet is out on a family emergency. So we could not get our 11mobth okd rescue un for what I believed was a "Hot Spot" on her back. The earliest we could get in would have been nid next week. These things get worse quickly.Called the practice and they were able to help us out, getting our dog in before lunch. Exam, treatment and meds all came to $245.00.The vet was very soft spoken, gave out dog a preliminary exam and took care of the necessary treatment. Although we had another dog years ago get. A similar skin condition, the doctor carefully explained and asked if we had any questions during the visit.Glad they were able to help in a pinch and get out girl in for a visit. Nothing good ever happens on a Friday, but today things worked out.Whe we left, Dr. D. said give us a call if need anything. I like to see he helped out another practice's patient in time of emergency.Thank you Dr. D.
August 29 · Andy LDr. Durham Is an amazing vet. You can tell that he really, truly cares about the pets he treats. He has a great staff as well. We had to put our Beagle Dory to sleep today which was very hard for us. They were very caring and made us feel comfortable during the whole process. Answered all our questions and helped our baby go peacefully from her broken down body. We are very thankful to have found Dr. Durham and his staff. We cannot thank him enough. It’s very hard to find a vet that cares this much for the pets that he treats. Thank you so much Dr. Durham and your staff.
December 28 · Amy KramerDr. Durham (and staff!) was excellent! He did a textbook job of explaining everything, confirming we understood, and getting our dog taken care of. Pricing was reasonable, and felt like he did a thorough job of looking our dog over, and giving him an accurate diagnosis. Not to mention he's a really nice person! We will definitely be going back!
November 02 · Lance SchieggBrought my 8 week old kitten here 3 years ago, who my mom's friend found under her house in East Texas, miles from any other house. Asked the vet here to neuter him, was told he already had been neutered and probably had a different owner, I should check for a microchip (why didn't he do it? he's the vet). I asked my mom's friend, she assured me that it wasn't any of her neighbors.I should have pressed the vet, or sought out a second opinion, because believing him back then is why I have to rehome my cat now. After behavior problems came to a head a few months ago, I took my cat to a different vet to find out he was a double cryptorchid and he had not been neutered. Because who would have neutered an 8 week old kitten in the middle of nowhere Texas?Despite him now being neutered, my little guy still sprays and is territorial with my roommates cat. He's cost me hundreds of dollars in destroyed property. And he's breaking my heart because I can't keep him anymore, and I still love him dearly.Strongly do not recommend this vet. He did not do due diligence after I told him there's no way someone else owned this cat before me, and now someone is going to have to own this cat after me.If you know someone who needs a loving companion who can be the only pet, please let me know!!
