This demonstrates their commitment to making pets as comfortable as possible and supporting families through heartbreak.
- Flexibility for Urgent Cases (when possible): While they may face scheduling constraints due to ongoing surgeries, their willingness to assist in emergencies is highlighted by the pug's case, where they provided critical care despite being the "only vet" available on a Saturday. This indicates a general intent to help in urgent situations.

Vetcare for Pets Animal Hospital Reviews
We were on vacation in Benson and our elderly pug developed a severe breathing problem. It was a Saturday so they were the only vet. They did X-rays and identified fluid in the lungs. It was very serious. They prescribed a variety of meds that kept our boy as comfortable as possible. They even gave us extras to make sure we made it back without running out. We are thankful we were able to get Frank the Pug back home so his family could all say goodbye. He crossed the rainbow bridge and is with the Lord now. He passed peacefully in our home surrounded by those who loved him. Without the help of the caring staff at Vet care for Pets, we may have missed that opportunity. I only wish we could find a vet that good in Ormond Beach, FL.
Jun 27, 2025 · Dillon KalkhurstThey’ve been great for all the years I’ve gone until today my dog was bitten by something, swelled up and itching everywhere, breathing heavily and they turned me away bc the doctor was in surgery if you work at a vet, you should still Have some kind of idea what’s wrong and try to help but no, not this place, so if my dog dies on you ppl, you better hope he don’t. Don’t go here ppl apparently they don’t care Like they say they do
Jun 25, 2025 · Garrett SafritI have always used Vetcare for pets and they take such good care of my babies. I recently had to have one of my babies put to sleep. I was a wreck, everyone was so caring and comforting. Briana was our vet tech and she was absolutely amazing! She walked us through every step and was patient and caring. They really are like family!!
