Animal Wellness Center Reviews
Dr. Raab is the only vet who is able to handle my African Gray parrot without causing her stress. She is gentle, kind, and patient. Autumn had her nails and beak trimmed and is a happy bird! I always recommend Animal Wellness Center to anyone looking for a vet.
May 18, 2025 · Barbara TomlinI am so happy I found a vet that is knowledgeable about rabbits. I saw one in the fall that said they care for rabbits but they didn't know much. I thought I was going to be figuring out rabbit care on my own. I feel so much better now that I know I have a place to help me on my journey of having rabbits as my fur babies!! And Dr. Raab and the vet tech were WONDERFUL!
Mar 30, 2025 · Karen BaughI am very impressed with AWC! They were able to fit in our very sick rabbit for an emergency appointment and were so kind from the first phone call to check out. You can tell the staff here love what they do—and most importantly genuinely care about the animals in their care. After a day of medication our rabbit was feeling much better and now he seems to be on the mend. I’m very thankful to Dr. Raab and her staff for the top level care he received.
Feb 10, 2025 · Tylir RussOver the past 25 years living in NY, CT, and VA, we’ve been to numerous veterinary practices and Animal Wellness Center is by far the best. Dr. Cook and her staff are extremely knowledgeable, thorough, caring, attentive, and honest. Dr. Cook is on the cutting edge of improving the quality of dogs’ lives with her extensive experience in pain management and mobility. We started out visiting Dr. Cook for the more holistic non-traditional services (laser, acupuncture, herbal medicine) and after a few months under the care of Dr. Cook and her team, we made Animal Wellness Center our primary veterinary practice for both of our labs (ages 11 and 6) as we saw positive and significant changes in their health. There are at least a dozen veterinary practices within 10 minutes from our home, but we choose to drive 30 minutes to see Dr. Cook not only because she and her team are professional and run a very efficient office, but also because they are compassionate animal lovers. The medical care is first rate, and the respectful administration is top notch. Most importantly, our dogs love to come in for their appointments!Side note: the new facility is excellent and definitely worth the wait!
Feb 07, 2024 · Alli de BoerDuring the emergency appointment, I got several updates from staff on how and what was going on with my pup. The next day at the follow up appointment Baxter was just laying down.
